Ariana's hair looks beautiful in that bun. Looks like a fun night.

Thanks! It was a fun night but it got crowded quickly. Luckily we'd gotten there early enough that we did everything we wanted and then the treats were a perfect incentive to head home before we got cranky.

Ooohh...I hope Ariana decides to get her hair done at MK! Sending lots and lots of pixie dust she agrees.

Ariana looks so pretty as Cinderella!! Love all the pictures! It looks like it was such a fun time! Oh and that candy apple looks so yummy! We're definitely going to have to make some this week!

Thanks Angie! You make candy apples? Yum! Ariana is LOVING being Cinderella. Demetri's fireman jacket unfortunately got a tear in it so we've tucked it away until Halloween. Won't be long until he wears it out completely after that.

Yes, you do have to make appointments now. You actually book it through the dining number. It didn't say they won't take walk ins but, like busy restaurants, you take your chances if they're not too booked.

Yes, we'll be there for the very first time in December. My older daughter (turning 5 on the trip) has a BBB appt. and I thought it would be fun to take our little one (she'll be 13 months on the trip) to the barber shop for her first haircut.. not that there will be much to trim.

Yes! I think Maddy getting her first haircut at Harmony would be great! Have you read up on it? They do a big thing for it and such a fun memory!!

Yes The Disney Parks Blog says, "First Haircuts” is the establishment’s specialty. Children who receive their first haircut are treated to surprises, including bubbles, Mickey Mouse stickers, an extra-special “My 1st Haircut” set of Mouse Ears, special “pixie dust” and a certificate.

I wish we'd done that for Demetri on our first trip.

Hey all.... Just a quick little posting here, tonite is movie night again!

George knows a guy who knows a guy at work that gave him a Toy Story 3 DVD so that's Ariana's choice. Can't wait to see it again!! Yes, I know TS3 hasn't yet been released on DVD...... so it might not be the best quality but we're still looking forward to it. Our entire house has been under the weather lately so it will be a fairly low key night as we relax and recouperate.

On other news, at 31 and a half days out Kathryn still hasn't received her passport. She can't come with us without it so she's pretty upset at the delays they've encountered. Needless to say, they're reapplying again this week and if they have it by Friday, they've guaranteed she will have it in time.

The added complication is Kathryn's parents are divorced and she's relying on her Dad, who's not altogether reliable, to come thru on his end. Cross your fingers.... it's looking somewhat bleak at this point. Kathryn's mom has said she's praying constantly it all works out because she will be inconsolable if she can't go.

I went with Captain's Grille instead of Kouzzina and they bumped up my ressie time to where it was before. Darn online dining is still down so I haven't yet cancelled CP. It was a tough decision for me to let that one go....

Kathryn's mom is definately going to hound the passport office -- it will be a much different trip for Alex if she can't come with us.

Thank you!! Yeah, there's no way around it, if she doesn't get her passport in time, they won't let her cross the border or fly out.

The only thing I can think of is a last second flight rescheduling just for her and she comes on her own a few days in? Not as good but then at least she wouldn't miss everything.

Yowsers! Fingers crossed. Half the problem is they sent away for them in the mail so her original birth certificate is sitting in Quebec.


Movie night? Well since you asked....

Movie night was nice. Low key since half of us were sniffling and the other half were coughing. No treats today, just popcorn and a great movie.

Lotso was just as naughty the second time around. Ken was funnier to me this time too and Buttercup's introduction of Mr. Pricklepants... "You've met Baron Von Shush" cracks me up.

One of our favorite lines was Buzz snapping out of his Spanish mode, sniffing the air of the garbage truck they're in and asking, "That wasn't me, was it?"

Chuckles the Clown made me laugh whenever he was briefly shown.....

..... and of course, just like in the movie theatre, Demetri's favorite part was Mr. Tortilla Head.

After Spanish Buzz and Jessie danced during the credits....

.... it was time to take yet another LGMH and section of links down.

Today is the 27th.... we go in exactly a month!!!

Looks like a fun movie night! I preordered my copy of TS3 and will be picking it up after work next Tuesday!! I really like Ken in it too, he's probably my favorite actually. I read a cute article on how they came up with his character and it was really interesting.
