Looking for any recent review/pictures of room 7586 on the Dream. Thanks!!
Thank you. I was hoping to find something more recent, not sure if there are any recent reviews out there!! Thanks, I appreciate it!!
I'm guessing you are staying in this room on your cruiseI'd like to see some too please!
Well, I just did a dummy booking, and when I had 4 in my party room 7586 was available. When I upped it to 5, it wasn't.There are conflicting reports whether it sleeps 4 or 5. I am interested in the Fantasy specifically. Hoping it sleeps only 4 so we will have the extra chair.
Have fun, Alicatt.
We did not have a chair either time on the Fantasy Cabin 7586. It had a pull down bed and the long couch; did not use on either trip as it was just the 2 of us.

Well, that's not true. While this was on the Fantasy, we had two 4A (Deluxe Family Oceanview with Verandah) rooms and one slept 5 (Murphy bed in cabinet on left here):Thank you for your response. By pulldown bed, do you mean it pulls down from the wall? I have seen some people use that term for the bunk over the couch that descends from the ceiling. If it is a Murphy style bed that pulls down from the wall, that explains the lack of a chair. I was told by a deck manager on the Fantasy that the extra chair was removed from all the cabins with a Murphy bed because so many guests complained there was no place to put the chair once that bed was down.
Thank you very much for checking that. I wonder if it sleeps four because it has the couch and Murphy bed but has no bunk. If that is the case, it would not have the chair which is my only reason for booking a family cabin. I find it so frustrating to try to figure out which cabins have that extra chair. When I called DCL about another cabin that appears to sleep only four, the CM insisted that all family cabins sleep 5!
You're welcomeI know the CM's information was incorrect. The deck manager on the Fantasy would know his cabins far better than a CM on the phone. To give the DCL CM credit, he did check with other CMs after I told him my experience. He said the consensus was that all family cabins slept five. You would think that DCL would provide the CMs with accurate descriptions of each cabin.
Thanks for the photos and for checking more sailings. We'll see if Margaret can solve the mystery about this particular cabin. Thanks again, Schmoo.
I see all these are of the Fantasy, are the pictures similar to the Dream?
We stayed in the cabin on our first cruise as well. This was back in February, so I'm hoping you have the same CM taking care of your room...she's awesome. Just to confirm, it does sleep four and is very close to the elevators. Have a great cruise!
