Disney Dream - State Room 7586

Bed pulled down from Ceiling; no extra chair. This was on Fantasy 7586. We had the same room 2 years in a row & both time no extra chair.

On the Dream, and yes, an extra chair, but no murphy bed...just the fold-out couch and the pull-down bed. For my son, 8yrs, the pull-down bed was one of the best parts of the trip.

The cruise was incredible. Relax, enjoy the food, talk walks on deck 4 and if you're anything like my wife, you'll love the shows. (one show has a shirtless Tarzan...the wife loved it :)

LOL about Tarzan. Glad you enjoyed your cruise. Thanks for your answer. How nice to have the extra chair on the Dream.

missycourteau, I am glad you have a recent report for your cabin on the Dream. You have inspired me to ask for reports for another cabin we'e reserved on the Fantasy. Conflicting reports on that one, too.

Thank you so much, MargaretJ. It appears that there is plenty of room for the extra chair. What a shame it was removed. I wonder if it was a mistake.

PrincessShmoo, thanks again for your help and detailed replies.

Sorry to have hijacked your thread, missycourteau. I have never sailed on the Dream nor seen any definitive info on the similarities/differences of the cabins in the Dream class ships. Hope there are more responses to your question today.

Were you on the Dream of Fantasy? Did the cabin have a Murphy bed or extra arm chair? Thanks for your help. Did you enjoy your first cruise?
Ask away!! Helps me as a first timer get more info!!

We stayed in the cabin on our first cruise as well. This was back in February, so I'm hoping you have the same CM taking care of your room...she's awesome. Just to confirm, it does sleep four and is very close to the elevators. Have a great cruise!
Great to hear!! Thanks, I hope we have her also!!

Silly question about this same cabin - 7586 - what is the location of the muster drill? Is it outside or in the theater? We have always stayed forward on every cruise and are excited to be mis-ship this time. I noticed some of the mid-ship rooms do muster drill indoors so I am curious. Thanks! Room pics look awesome :)

Yes PrincessShmoo -- that's the link that shows all of the stations and only because of that thread do I even know that there are indoor muster stations. Before looking at that post, I just assumed all were outside. :) It was a genius idea to post where the stations are and I will add to the post if no one beats me to it on this room. But since this thread was about the specific room I booked I thought I'd ask to see if people remembered...

You can get a fairly good idea of what your muster station will be by looking to see if the rooms directly above or below you are listed. Lifeboats are typically assigned in an vertical configuration. Sometime you'll get a clue if the rooms on either side of your room (or those above and below) have the same stations.
