Disney Dream - October 9, 2011 - 4 Nights

Do you know how to make a poll? We could poll everyone (with a deadline)

I know the theory, but can you edit a poll after it starts? Would hate to make the poll and then get a good name that should be added. So I was just keeping a spreadsheet until we got all suggestions in ( or we reached a deadline)

We should come up with cut off dates since we are in the 3 month mark (omg how time flies... still not fast enough but can't believe we're that close). Are we looking to do the wristband idea? If so what's the cutoff for that? So we can make cutoffs for suggestions and voting.

If there's nothing time sensitive then I say suggestions up to July 31 and then put up the poll for 2 weeks. That should leave 6-7 weeks for those who are personalizing items. Seem like enough time?

I think that we should definitely institute cutoff dates for FE, wristbands, etc., b/c it's going to be time to sail before we know it!

I'd love to go ahead and settle on a name, too, so that I can order my FE stuff...

THANKS! Been muling over that one for awhile. I agree, lets get a name soon so we can get together the FE's plus gifts, and my DW is still working on putting together a some type of pic for the cruise too.

In the meantime... THANK YOU emtmom for getting us added on the ressie with our slobbery fish breathed dates! I couldn't get in after midnight, but that could be because I'm traveling in AZ right now, and maybe the system could tell it really wasn't midnight for me.

I'm not so worried about the specialty dining. I'm not 100% convinced I want to do any (it's such a short cruise, I don't want to miss anything in the MDR's)... but I heard somewhere on the main board that they only open up 25% of the ressies for booking pre-sailing. So anyone still looking, don't give up hope!

Boy! I have been away a long time and we are a growing group!! How exciting. Naw I have to go catch up on the list of cruisers and fe participants. I think I probably have my work cut out for me.

I am glad there is a poll for the cruise name. I tried to start a thread on the private website but no one ever replied to it. Maybe the poll will work.

We got all checked in and tried to get a Palo Brunch, too. Oh well, guess we will be joining the line outside of Palo with our fingers crossed. We did make a couple of excursions that I am excited about. Time flies. I cannot believe in just 85 days we will be checking in to BCV to begin our adventure!!

Sending your way Julie, sorry for your loss. My Mom's dog passed away on Monday and she is the same age as my son, so it feels like losing a family member.

I know right, well, it is getting closer though!!! Here's a pic of the 3 D's at DLR from two years ago, it included that Mouse so I like it.

We can't wait to get on the boat, so much, we're quacking up!

Thanks for this statement! It provides the perfect lead in for my request. I have volunteered to be in charge of wristbands for our group for the cruise. I am seesawing between whether there is enough interest to do them for the whole group or just those doing FE. I would love to do enough for everyone, but I don't want to have 50 leftover. I would love some feedback from those of you NOT doing FE to let me know if there is enough for a wristband. Thanks so much in advance for your feedback!

love the idea of the wrist band. Would it be one for everyone or one per stateroom? I am also part of the FE, so I guess that doesn't answer your question...

I would like to do one for everyone. My plan is if enough show an interest, I will give them out at our meet that is planned for the very beginning of the cruise. If not, they will show up very early in the FEs.

Thank you! Milo was a special dog and we miss him terribly. Our other dog is lost without him too, since they've been together since they were 6 weeks old. It's heartbreaking for the whole family, and now I'm wondering how our other dog is going to do with us leaving for vacation for 10 days. For her entire life, she's had Milo by her side, no matter what.
