Disney Dream - October 9, 2011 - 4 Nights

Hey Andie,
This will be our 4th Disney cruise. We have not done anything Disney for a while. We have been enjoying the mountains of Tennessee for our family vacations.
I am with you. I am so ready for this vacation. We were talking today about what we could do fun for a count down. We did a paper chain made with Disney scrapbook paper one year but I don't want to cut our 365 strips of paper. That one year mark is coming up soon.

What section of KY do you live in?
We are in Middle TN, close to Nashville.

I am getting more and more excited as we get closer and closer to the 1 year mark.
We already had paper confirmation but we received and email cruise confirmation the other day. The excitement is building.

We're on I-75 just 11 miles north of the TN border (so closer to Knoxville) but I lived in Brentwood when I was a kid. I've started seeing the commercials with ways people surprised their kids with the announcement they were going to Disney, and now I'm starting to wish I had kept it a secret so I could surprise them. But that's ok, we talk about it every day as if it's right around the corner! (Thank goodness it IS a year away though - I need that much time to get into swimsuit shape!)

Finally below the 1 year mark. We have started our countdown.

Andie: I drive to Franklin everyday for work. I work in the Cool Springs area. Not exactly Brentwood but close.

I try to hit Curves 2 or 3 times per week to make sure I don't have too many curves bulging from my swimsuit. I have walked 2 half marathons this year. The training has helped me to drop a few pounds. I might have 2 more half marathons under my belt by cruise time. I am hoping that will be enough to look fairly decent next year.

Thinking about doing this cruise. I will be doing the 3 night prior for a B2B. I am currently booked for one in November but what i can see even if i go up a category or 2 it is cheaper on this one!! Have to wait to see what the rest of my party thinks!

Hi all, we (DH Steve, DD Skyla 5, DD Saylor 2)just booked this cruise as our second Disney cruise and can't wait. We would love to be a part of the FE but need some tips because it would be our first time. I look forward to keeping up with the chat!

Hi all... I've been MIA
We have decided to stick with this trip as the identical one booked day 1 of 2012 opening is gonna be almost $500 more !!
BTW whoever did the list has got us with way too many folks traveling LOL
It is 2 adults and 3 kiddies (DD 6.5, DS 4.5 and DS3)
We are in for FE too!

Kind of sort of new here. Joined a while back but have not gotten into posting. A friend of mine and I will be sailing on this cruise. First Disney Cruise for both of us! DVC members for both of us, too. I would love to sign up for the FE. I think that would be fun!

The B2B cruises fascinate me! Can't wait to hear all about it!

I have some friends that are also thinking about coming. we have cabins 7022 and 7520 on courtesy hold until saturday, then we have to decide if we are going to do this one or novemeber. seeing as how many Tennesseans are here... would like to do this one... but i just hope none of ya are UT fans... LOL. Neither me or the other couple are UT fans...

Actually, I am a UT alum. However, DH and I are not big sports fans so you will likely not hear any fan chatter from us.

We had talked about adding the 3 night cruise and doing the B2B but I think we have opted to do the MNSSHP before or after the cruise. Maybe before and after.

Hi Rochelle,

We bleed old gold and white. Although we live in TN, we are transplants from Atlanta and Georgia Tech is in the blood.

On a side note, after my husband accepted his new job in TN, he found out that part of his uniform was a TN orange shirt...lol.

I have started a list....it is on page 3 post 32.....it list everyone with cabin numbers and an FE if they are doing a fish extender
