At Scott and Lynns BBQ at Old Key West on Tuesday, January 25.

At the terminal - I will get there fairly early - you will have to play "Where's Ken" to find me. It probably won't be to difficult - just ask the people with the special lanyards and name badges.

On Deck 12 - Starboard side (that's the ride side of the ship) - overlooking the Mickey and Donalds pools from 2:30 to 3:00pm - if it's raining, I will be on Deck 11, starboard side, between the two pools trying to stay dry.

If we can't connect in these places, you will have to call me in room 6554 and make arrangements for pickup.

I am bringing a bag with only pirate gear! Egads. Crazy huh? Well that is full pirate outfits for 5 people! It actually takes up an entire bag!

See I am just jabbering because I am so excited!

I saw Price Caspian about the Magic so there is a good chance for the Narnia movie to be showing I expect.

How many of us are booked for the MV of the Fantasy in 2012? Could there be a meet-and-greet for that crew?

We did. Then they changed the date. We thought about canceling completely. Then we thought about changing to sometime in summer.

BUT, we finally went with the new MV date. The kewl thing was, DCL was more than happy to let us use our DVC points for the cruise. AFTER 2 weeks prior them saying we could not.

The way our work schedules/vacation works, it is more difficult.
But we are going any way.

Our question was, how do they know this far in advance that things needed to be moved up a week. Obviously the bean counters could see the ship just floating around not generating any revenue. Sigh. Is this what Disney has become?

Our room number is now 9088--was able to switch to a room without a connecting door. For some reason, those give me the creeps just a little so I am happier in a room without one.

Just wanted to let Peter & crew know for the roster, mini-Navigator, Fish Extender list and stuff like that.

I have a question: We were going to take the cruise line transport to the terminal from SS. I just realized it is actually cheaper to have a car service pick us up. I have never taken anything but the bus. How does it work if you take a car service to the terminal?

We have used a car service in the past. They pick you up at your chosen location and drop you off at the cruise terminal. Very simple. The biggest issue is if the car has enough space for your luggage. We have had bags in the passenger compartment once or twice.

Since those early times, we have just rented a car one way and dropped it off in the Cape Canaveral area. That works well.

I am absolutely giddy right now! I just found out that my 2 younger cousins are going to be able to join us on the cruise if we can book a room for them in the morning or add them to our existing reservation!

I tried booking them on-line tonight but I guess since they are minors they can't be booked in a room by themselves. They are 14 & 16 so on the slim chance that there are rooms available near our rooms won't DCL allow us to book them in their own room? Their mom is going and is booked in a room with our grandmother. Does anyone know if DCL will allow room changes at this point? We were thinking maybe we could book one of them in the room with our grandmother and then the other in a new room with their mom. There appear to be quite a few room categories available for our MV sailing, including the coveted interior porthole rooms. I guess they upgraded enough people out of those to open up rooms for last minute add-ons. Hopefully it wasn't an error and something will still be available when I call at 9 a.m. Sunday morning. And if we can't make changes like that to the rooms this late then we will just try to add them to one of our existing rooms if that is possible.

Has anyone ever tried adding people to a cruise this late in the game? I tried searching the forums for something but couldn't find anything other than info about the cruise manifest needing to be completed 48 hours prior to sailing. This is my first DCL cruise so I am not very familiar with all their policies and procedures.

Everyone please send us a little pixie dust in the hopes that this will work out!
