Thank you Disney! They just confirmed what I had been hoping for today.

"For those sailing, we will be introducing a Random Selection Process for the pins and other collectible items. Stay tuned for that information. We know from previous voyages that the RSP is an important part to ensure an enjoyable experience for all."

This makes me very happy to know that I won't be missing out on the Sail Away Party while waiting in line at the store!

That sounds fab. How do they notify you, is it via email before the cruise?

We had a party and sleepover in the hallway on the first Panama Repo while waiting in the pin line. A DCL first and hopefully last time event.

I met the 2 ladies who were 500 and 501, Shirley and Sally.
who actually live less than 5 miles from me.

501 was not very happy!

But threw the DIS network, we were able to get her the pins she desired!
