Disney Dream Inaugural Cruise 1/26/2011!

I'm with you...waiting very (im)patiently for my 9A GTY assignment! Hopefully since the cruise is so full, we won't have to wait much longer!

We were just on the Magic Halloween cruise and here are some pics of the new areas on Castaway Cay....I also posted these on the main cruise board but in case you didn't get over there I will post them here.

And this was the family beach (original area) early in the morning which did not get filled until much later in the morning.
This pic was a about 9:45 am which usually has more people around but it slowly filled up over the next 90 minutes but there was still a few left empty.

Temps were low 80's but there was a strong breeze all day...dark clouds (as you can see in the pics) rolled by most of the day...but, it was nice and warm when the sun would peek out!! Still an enjoyable day. Definitely notice the original family beach was not as crowded due to the new section of the family beach and the new water perks. Yet to be seen how the island will handle the Dream passengers...there was quite a long wait at Cookies 2 for lunch, longer than we experienced ever before at Cookies.

Sorry you could not make that cruise!!! We were our own group of 13 so I did not spend any time with the cruise meet folks but they did a nice scavenger hunt for the kids at Nachi Cocom with buried treasure and everything!!!
