Just checking in from time to time. Still getting ready for our Baltic cruise coming up. We leave July 2nd. I'll be gone until Aug 21-going over to Taiwan to see family right after the cruise. I get back into Tampa the night of Jul 19th and leave the morning of the 21st. Just enough time to dump out one wardrobe and add another. My boys are already there. My mom took them over right after school ended on 6/9.

My son is 14 and it has worked out well for him to text before the cruises we have been on and know someone for going to the teen club. I am not sure about those games -he is big into x box

Anyone else plan on running the Castaway Cay 5K? DH and I are runners (well, I'm a runner, and DH tags along)... not speedy at all, but I love it! Have not yet completed a half, but keep on trying.... (IT band! yuck!). did the ToT13K in it's last running.

Anyway... anyone who may be running it, what do you think of making our own tech shirts?

SANDY: Can we count on you for our door magnets again? Still have all the other ones but I don't think it will fit this cruise but it could be fun to put all the old ones on the door!

Spent the day yesterday at DL and DCA. Got to see World of Color. Great show, but I thought it relied a little to much on old film clips and no new stuff. Great water effects. Crowd control was interesting. The best viewing areas are controlled by Fast Passes.

We opted for one of the dinner packages and ended up in the a good area for viewing. However, if you have people in your group with a height disadvantage (was I PC with that), you still want to get in your area as early as possible. We were in the back of our area and my DD couldn't see everything.

But it was all good - it adds a new reason to be in DCA late at night. One other thing to note - they close down most of the stuff along Paradise Pier (I guess Toy Story stays open) early because of the show, so get those rides in before 8:00pm.
