Good Morning Cruisers!

Welcome Tapan and Ureka! I agree with Peter except for the part about getting in line at 2am - 9 to 10 am is quite soon enough, and they might not even let you into the port before then anyway.:rotfl: Some folks stay at the port, others stay at Disney and drive to the port the next morning.

Have a great day all!

Just joined...hello everyone.

Just for my own information - are you Tapan or Ureka? Just wondering who is doing the posting?

Ken

We booked the MV for the Fantasy this morning! We got a 5E and are waitlisted for a V. I sure was hoping to try concierge but maybe another cruise.

tup1830- Welcome! We got married at WDW too :goodvibes

Hi Linda

We currently have a 5C (7542) on hold until 10 pm tonight...price was $4,318.52 with a nonrefundable deposit of $772.80. I think I will be cancelling as I can't seem to justify the price for the Western Caribbean...which we've done already....I was hoping for some different "exciting" ports....

BUT....

Linda...if Jamie can't go....can I be your roommate?....I'm very tidy, I don't snore and I LOVE scrapbooking!!!!!

Of course you can be my roommate, I am tidy, I do snore and I LOVE scrapbooking too!

Booked the Fantasy MV this morning. We are sailing on the MV of the Dream in January. We also sailed on the MV of the Magic in 1998 and the Wonder in 1999. So 4 for 4 on the maiden voayages. Yeah.

They have only gotten better as the time has gone by. So we are expecting a great time in January on the Dream and an even better time on the Fantasy the next year.

Faith

Now...if we could just figure out a way to get to Papenburg to tour the Fantasy! I would love to do that again.

In 8502 for the MV for the Fantasy, guess 8504 was taken, so I'll be 8504 for MV of Dream and right next door in 8502 for the Fantasy!

:confused3I am Platinum and I still have not received word from DCL. How were you notified (phone, email or mail)? I plan on booking it. Any word if deposit is non-refundable? What else did you learn?:confused3

I found out because I went to make a payment on my other cruise and noticed the RED lettering that said deposits for the MV on the Dream and the MV on the Fantasy (April 7th 2012) were non-refundable.... so I called and found out it was 8am (5amPST)the next day. I received no email, no letter... nothing that's why I posted it. Gold & Platinum members only got 1 day early booking.

I think I'm going to hold out for more exotic ports as well. That is
right towards the end of the school year and I don't like to pull the kids
out of school unless I really have to (or really want to :lmao:) Maybe
something good will come up in August.

Hi all... I'm holding off on the Fantasy Inaugural for now... Credit card needs a breather :rotfl: what with the three cruises in 2011. Am considering either the All Ears Group cruise (waiting date release) or the summer on the Magic (depending on destination). May bite the bullet later on for the MV, but for now, I won't be joining you all :sad2:

Still no cabin or letter on this cruise :scared1:

Are the lifeboats still available?

They still had 8 cat 11 rooms available, when i checked a bit ago!
the second cruise is a very good price!

Hi folks...

We are currently on the Wonder and had a chance to meet the new sommelier for Remeys (Alex)... had a wonderful wine discussion with him (he is from France of course) and he knows his stuff... do not let the disarmingly young looking man fool you!

He is a great guy and realizes that expectations are sky high... he is shadowing Ross on the Wonder to learn the "Disney Way"

Got word through Officer Joseph that he had an e-mail from Officer Pierre (who has safely arrived in Germany) that the team had a very special (and delicious) kickoff dinner on Monday night...

Many of the folks who are bringing her back are on leave for some well deserved rest (you are going to see many of your favorites wearing the white suits now.... no longer servers or bartenders) Good for them! :thumbsup2

Where did you see that there were 8 cat 11s available? I've been GTY for an 11B since week 1. When I just looked they only have cat 5A, 4A and 4B available.

I did speak to Disney, as a final payment notice came in the mail today and I paid in full 2 weeks ago. I asked about the letter, and she told me that I had main dining and the 9 pm show. With this show, will we still make the fireworks? I can't see Disney scheduling the fireworks so that 1 third of the boat will miss them!

I think Peter is referring to the FantasyInaugural availability for those categories? You had mentioned giving the Credit card a rest... The second sailing of the Fantasy has much lower prices.

Don't worry... we have GTY also. We will get a room on the ship. As far as fireworks on Pirate Night... they usually set them off around 10:25 PM. You won't miss them. :goodvibes
