bumping up. i haven't been to this thread in quite some time as we had a death in our family back in february. my mil passed away very unexpectedly from a heart attack. it was a very hard time and we are still trying to understand it.
hope everyone else has been doing okay! and i hope to start staying up to date on the thread!!

Hey guys! I just found this thread as we are booked on the FULL Dream 8/28.

I called yesterday to upgrade to a balcony and was told that all rooms have been sold out. WOW! That's alot of people!

I want to know if anyone here has booked a room at comfort suites so that they can use Atlantis facilities instead of paying the EXPENSIVE per person rates???

Are you able to check in at 9am and get your "proof" to use the Atlantis facilities all day or can you only check in at 3pm like their website states???

I've never used Comfort Suites so I can help with that. Hopefully someone else in the thread can provide an answer.

Shannon and Disnylvr77 - very sorry to heat about your loss.

I have done Comfort Suites in the past. We never even got a room... just the wristbands to use the Atlantis facilities... so it doesnt matter what time u get there.

If I recall, the front desk said the room would not be ready for a while, and I said we prob would not be using it anyway... and we went on about out business.

The distance from Comfort Suites to the Atlantis is like a quarter mile (maybe more)... and in a HOT August sun... u wont want to make that walk too often.

Sorry for you lost it is hard when it is unexpected this is how it happend to my father many years ago I feel for you cause i know what you guys are going thru

I'm sorry for your loss. We had an expected death and an unexpected death in the month of March and It's very hard to move forward.

This will be my 3rd disney cruise and I can't wait. We are in room 9577.


It will be Stephanie me (33), husband Alex (42), eldest DD Cortney 14 and youngest DD Sidney (8).

I am so sorry for your loss. At times like these its hard to look around to try and make sense out of the world. But remember to hold on tight to your family and friends and find strength in the love you all share....

We did comfort suites last year.... We got off the boat as soon as they let us off the boat, grabbed a cab to the comfort suites, paid and got out "proof", and we were off to Atlantis. We picked up our bands from the towel hut and it was all good and had no problems!!!

Remember to order from room service sandwiches, chips, salad and cookies the night before and pack it to take with you - so you have a cheap snack / meal alternative!!

Does anyone know when we will be in nassau? I am looking at excursion options. Is there any other group of two that wants to share a comfort suites room? Atlantis is really cheap that way, but I am apprehensive to do it on my own...

Hi everyone! We are back from vacation to Cocoa Beach, Orlando & Tampa/St. Pete. I saw the Dream She is huge! My friends went down and loved it! We also just booked our pre-stay! We are staying at All Star movies and then taking DCl transportation to the port! I am more excited about this vacation than the one i just went on!

Also, I did my research on the comfort suites, but it just is not worth it for me. For anyone who wants to know, there is a 149 dollar rate for monday the 29th, which comes to 194 with taxes. Then, there is an additional 12.95 per person energy tax and 5 per person housekeeping. Then, if thinking of adding a third or fourth person, it is 67.95 additional each! So... the Aquaduck will do for us!
