Disney Dream come True 8/28/2011

I just want to wish all the Mothers that are joining us real soon a very Happy Mothers Day :lovestruc:love:

Hello everyone! Just checking in!

disney67: Sorry to hear about your situation. Sending some luck your way!

Welcome to the cruise meet to all the folks that have recently posted!

Now I have some good news: I will be making my final payment this weekend :cool1: :woohoo:
Unfortunately I'll be in Mexico on 5/30 (when palo, shore excursions, etc bookings open) BUT I am going to try to book while I'm at my resort that day :rotfl:(pathetic I know).

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the moms out there!

Ileana

Hi Ileana! Wow, Mexico! I hope this is a holiday and not work! I think you will be an hour or two behind the booking window, right? so, what time do the reservations for Palo and excursions open, midnight? If so, that would be 10 or 11pm at your resort, so if you have wi fi or if there is a business center, you should be all set!

Be Safe!

:banana:paid in full dance:dancer: ( I will bring out the party dancing smilies when and if I actually pay the credit card:rolleyes1)

Thanks deb! Yes it will be a holiday. It's the annual girls' trip (adults only). Every year we go somewhere as a group. All women usually. This will be our 3rd year going to Mexico. I always take 1 family vacation & 1 adults only vacation every year. It helps keep me sane.

I believe Cancun is 1 hour behind so it will be 11PM my resort time. I will be on my laptop trying to book all my activities. Palo will not be one unfortunately :sad1:. I'm traveling with just my DD9 & I don't think I would enjoy Palo alone.

Well Ileana, if you think your daughter would be interested in the kids clubs, I would not mind having company at Palo. I will be alone, my DD15 will most likely have made friends. I can understand the trepidation about a 9 year old, though. Have a lovely trip!

hey everyone! our final payment was made last week...and i am supposed to be able to do online checkin today for the first half of our back to back ....only it's not letting me!!! grrr!!! i'm not used to staying up this late anymore, but i wanted to try tonite...so i could do the checkin right at midnite. i'm guessing maybe it goes by pacific time? i'm not sure...guess i'll try again in the morning!

That sounds fabulous! Thanks so much. I will probably have to drag her kicking and screaming from the kids clubs. On our last DCL cruise in 2009 she swore to me she wouldn't want to stay in the kids clubs. She spent almost every waking moment in there so it was almost like I was cruising alone :sad2:.

We are almost there! The cruise is pretty much paid in full, when I went to book my hotel, my TA added it to my cruise package (didn't want her too!), so now I have to have my disney hotel paid for too! So frustrating :( So, I also need to have it paid off my 5/25 as my TA is going on vacation and I want to be able to book our excursions on 5/30.

Anyhow, don't want to wish my summer away, but I can't wait!!!

Hellooooo all & Happy Friday!

Are there any drinkers out there who would be game to join me for a tasting while onboard? I was thinking about doing the Martini and/or Mojito tasting & wanted to see if anyone wanted to join me! It's usually held on the sea day either in the afternoon or between dinner seatings before the 7PM show (from what I've seen on the navigators). I have 2nd seating so needless to say the show & dinner will be very giggly for me. Let me know! If not I'll go and report back the hilarious results :rotfl:

:yay: ooh ooh pick me! pick me!:rotfl: Although I am not a drinker per se, when in rome, do as the romans and when on vacation, well, I don't have to work and I don't have to drive! I have had my eye on the tastings because I thought it might not only be fun, but I could learn something and impress people back home :lmao: especially because I rarely have the chance to imbibe anymore!

Hello and Happy Spring Break (If you have one!)

Does anyone know when we will be in nassau? I am looking at excursion options. Is there any other group of two that wants to share a comfort suites room? Atlantis is really cheap that way, but I am apprehensive to do it on my own...

Hi debsters41! Do you know how much the comfort suites room would cost? We are a party of two and have been thinking about it! Let me know how much it would be and I will talk to hubby:) I have been talking about going to Atlantis for years!

I already have a reservation at CS for 8/29. It's approximately $230 for the night. There are a couple of extra charges on top of that and they add $40 each for the 3rd/4th person. It would still be considerably cheaper than the disney excursion.

Oh and it's just my DD9 & I on the reservation so if anyone on the boards would like to join us and split the cost I wouldn't mind that at all.

Hi Brenda and Mommy2tati, When I looked into CS, it was 149 a night plus a ton of fees. I have decided against it this time, but Brenda, splitting the costs with mommy to tati would be beneficial to you both! :thumbsup2 I think I have decided on another excursion, at Blue Lagoon. After all, we will have visited Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach the week before.

We've also been looking at the Blue Lagoon, we are just not sure what we want to do yet..Hubby likes the idea of beach with lunch included.
