I did a program called Weight and Wellness...which is kind of a combination of Weight watchers (meetings, weigh-ins...) and Jenny Craig (special food for 2 meals per day). It worked for me because it gave me very limited choices, and I totally needed that structure! I'd been dieting and exercising on my own for months without results so this was perfect for me. The classes were about nutrition, food choices, etc...so that once you are done with the special food, you have a better chance of making good choices! Little changes can really add up. Like right now for dinner I am having an egg salad sandwich. But instead of mayo, I mashed the eggs up with low fat cottage cheese and some pepper, and instead of bread, I used a pita pocket....and then I loaded it up with green veggies....it's a big, satisfying dinner. 4 months ago, I'd have been having pasta...or cheese. Or pasta with melted cheese, lol!

We were assigned our room today! We were previously a GTY cat 9A reservation, so I'm happy to finally know where we'll be. No upgrade fairy for us, but we are in one of the forward-facing 9A rooms that is' extra-roomy. A quick search even gave me a few photos to look at - WHOO!

Hi everyone! I'm Rob- my fiancee, Kristen, and I will be joining you guys on this cruise (in less than 3 months! YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY ). We are both currently sweating it out in Tucson, AZ (I'm here for grad school), but she's from Orlando and I grew up in Nashville.

I went to school with MackieMouse (her and her DH are actually in my wedding party) and we are totally looking forward to cruising with them and all of you fellow Disney lovers this summer.

Also- is everyone else excited about the FE exchange? Kristen and I have some good idears on what we're doing....

^YAY! It's Rob! I love this guy (and his beautiful future wife). For the record, not only are DH and I in their wedding party (both on Rob's side...yes, I am a "groomschick"!), but Rob played piano for ours.

Keep at it! I recently lost 30 pounds in about 14 weeks, and so far have stayed steady for 6 weeks with it. So nervous to regain! For the first time in YEARS I feel ready for bathingsuit season! You can do it!!!

Yay! Feels GREAT, doesn't it? a couple years ago I started doing WW and running, and lost about 30. This fall a few #s started re-finding me, so I rejoined WW online. Got back to where I was. Still have those elusive last few that I have yet to get rid of....but REALLY feel so much better! Did it just in time for a 20th reunion (HS) and turning 40.

YES!!! Just got an email from Disney Cruise--Main dining!!!!!

Yippie! Got our main dining, got our Parasailing, and even though we couldn't get our first choice of hotel, I've read up on Polynesian a lot and am very happy with this choice! HOOOOOOORAY!!! NOW, I feel like I'm getting our dream vacation!

I need to get moving on my FE plans... I've been so busy, it's been hard to find a block of time. Although I did manage to squeeze in a few moments to start a guidebook for the nieces over the past weekend- I did one last time which set a bad precedent, lol. But I think they liked having our itinerary printed out, and it was a good way to also give them some general info.

YIPEEEEEEEEEE! FINALLY made our last payment!! This is cruise is way more than we are use to paying and it was a splurge since we have already sailed this year. DH has been working his hiney off to pay for this "extra" vacay. I am so lucky to have a hard worker and a Disney lover for a husband!! I am also blessed that he has a job that he can work overtime to pay for our addictions (DCL AND WDW).

So not only did we pay this off today, but we still got the times we wanted for Palo's and Remy's!! YAY! This was the good news today...then we had some bad news...my oldest DH didn't make show choir at school. She would have been perfect-she can sing well AND she has been in dance for 11 years! I hate the politics of a small town!! I appologized to her for not being "a name" in the community. Apparently that is what it takes in my small town. I am so frustrated about it. I hate seeing her feelings hurt, esp. over something that she really did deserve. She takes honors classes 3.984 GPA, never causes trouble, friends with everyone, sweet and caring and she constantly gets stomped on. It stinks! I could really use a KONK KOOLER right about now. Sorry-I needed to vent.

Back to cruise talk...can't wait for DH to come home from work so I can tell the GOOD news of the day. He will be so excited about Remy's!

More good news- DH has now lost 20lbs! That is so awesome. I finally dropped a few, my total is 6.2 lbs! It is a start. I have been counting calories, walking outside and working out at the YMCA. I have been mostly on the treadmill, lifting weights, using the Elliptical and riding a stationary bike. I really am trying. I figure we will be in our bathing suits a lot and I want to feel comfortable.

This trip can't come soon enough. I told DH last night that after we officially pay off the cruise I was going to post my dancing banana so here it is...

simba - I'm so sorry to hear about your daughter I'm a teacher and sometimes I feel that the community I teach in can be the same way - there is a definite "in" crowd amongst the parents/kids/families, and sometimes our kids who don't fit that "mold" seem to miss out. Is there a chance she can try again next year?

Our FE gifts are set to go - just need to assemble them before the cruise! I love watching that ticker go these days...especially because this school year has been insanely stressful and I am ready for it to end.

It will be myself(Tina), DH(Tim), DD(Krystina, 14, turning 15 on 8/11), DD(Haylee, 12) and DD(Gabby 1)! We are staying at Animal Kingdom from 7/30 til we go on the cruise! Can't wait!

We are interested in FE if its still open!

We were able to book the few excursions we wanted and get our times for Palo!! We are doing a cabana on CC, We really loved it in December and can't imagine CC without it!

You're lucky you got a cabana- I sorta wanted one because I burn so easily and don't trust the umbrellas to provide enough protection but all the ones on the family beach were gone when I was able to book; I still keep checking.
