I think the DisOwners are blocking a lot of the outside tickers. Since they started using their own, they have blocked several of the other site's tickers. I used to have a Magical Kingdoms one and now it's blocked, so I ended up just making a Dis one (which is not as cute

Thanks for the info EcbLovesMickey! I attempted to put together a new signature...didn't get very far...having problems getting the ticker boxes to go on the same line...never had that problem before. Anyhow...I'll leave it for now...and work on it when we return. Maybe this time I'll have room for the Deck 7 Club DISign!

I picked up a couple of things last week thinking they would be good for the FE

We spent Saturday at DLR (from 8:00 am until 11:00 pm...yikes, LOL) and I almost bought some pirate ears for us. They had the princess pirate ones and the ears looked bedazzled LOL.

But the kids were with me and I wasn't sure how to explain three sets of Pirate Princess ears and one set of boy pirate ears, LOL. We will be back to DLR again next week so I am going to have to find a way to sneak off and buy them. I figure they will be good for both the Mango Rum Run and the Pirate night I'm not sure if I will be able to get my Mom to wear them...but I will try, LOL.

I hope Crystal is having a wonderful time on her cruise!!

I had to make new tickers also. I waited a couple of days to see if they would come back and they didn't I still want to add the Deck 7 club to my signature also, LOL.

Hi All!

I did something totally not 'me' today - A friend is a nurse at the hospital and a bunch of them planned a crusie a while back at $300 per person. Well one of them broke their leg this week and today I agreed to take her place on the cruise. The kicker is that it leaves next Thursday --- being the OCD planner that I am - I'm freaked and so excited at the same time. I got on the computer to google and have stopped - I'm throwing caution to the wind and am packing a bathing suit and hopping on board We're going on the 4 night Carnival out of Jacksonville.......

Still can't believe it.....

I hope Crystal had fun the hurricane did not ruin her trip......

I love looking at all the countdowns in the signatures.....all saying "7 Months until......" Wow, 7 months from today we will be getting ready to board the Dream

I think I am going to book our flight out today (the flight home is already booked and so is the hotel for the night before). Yep....I'm making progress, LOL.

So what is everyone's plans for Labor Day Weekend. Mine is to have no plans I think we will spend tomorrow by the pool but then I need to spend the other days de-cluttering our closets. I need to pull out everything that doesn't fit and get it out of there, LOL. I always have a need to clean things out before the kids go back to school, LOL.

As I was playing around on the Disney Store website today (since they have free shipping this weekend) I found the perfect Bedazzled Minnie Mouse Ears for $7.50! Make sure you check them out & let me know what you think--they have them listed under the Adult Halloween section/accessories (Sparkle Minnie Mouse Ears w/red bow). I'm just hoping they actually make them adult size cause I hate tight headbands! I'm not sure how quickly those things sell--I'd love to see if they would bottom them out after Halloween but then again the price right now really isn't that bad.

I'm definitely putting in an order this weekend off the website & as of right now I have one in my cart--I want to see if anyone else likes the idea!

Hi everybody... it's been awhile since I've checked in. Things have been a little busy... but I'm SO in the vacation-prep mode, it's not funny.

Today, we FINALLY got our vacation plans pretty much finalized. I got approval from work (thankfully!) early last week and then we got into planning mode right away.

We had already had the 'after' portion of our trip booked, but we weren't sure what we were doing for the 'before' portion of the trip. Being new to DVC, we really wanted to try out a MK View room at Bay Lake Towers, but we weren't sure if we'd be able to or not... so we had to wait until the 7 month mark to make those plans... and it all just fit together perfectly.

Here's our itinerary, as of now:

Wednesday, March 30th - We're driving overnight, right after work for me (my wife is closing her business that day). Probably leave around 6:00pm or so... and we expect to arrive around 1:00pm the following day.

Thursday, March 31st through Saturday, April 2nd - We're staying at Bay Lake Towers in a Magic Kingdom View Room (girls are going to LOVE it!) for those 3 nights.

Sunday, April 3rd through Wednesday, April 6th - Disney Dream!!! We're driving to Port Canaveral in the morning and then... it's 4 days of what I'm hoping is drinks, food, sun and fun!

Thursday, April 7th through Friday, April 8th - We're staying at Animal Kingdom Kidani in a Savannah View Room (my son and I love it here!) for those 2 nights.

We'll be visiting the parks a few times during the 5 days we're not on the ship... and hopefully enjoying some awesome food at Epcot (my favorite park in the complex).

So... there it is! Just under 7 months to go. The countdown is officially ON!

I can't wait to get together with some of you and I know my wife shares the same sentiments!

Today was the first day of school for my boys--DS8 is now in 3rd grade & DS5 has all day Kindergarten so this will be an adjustment for me. I work the afternoon shift so my time with the boys is very limited--I hate this. Looks like It's time to switch to the night shift so I don't miss out on so much of my boys lives. In the meantime, I'm going to put my extra time into decluttering & organizing the house--and starting an exercise routine for me. Gotta make the most of things!

Hello Everyone! We are home! It's very sad to see the summer come to a close! We went out with a blast! The cruise was excellent! The worst part is that my kids and husband don't really want to ever cruise Disney again! They are so caught up in the activities that RCI offers...but I can still see that Magic of Mickey in their eyes! And we are cruising this April on the Dream...even if I have to go alone!


I'll post more later about the cruise, but overall it was smooth sailing, great ports, excellent service, and very relaxing!


I think that I updated everyone's info. on the first page...just let me know otherwise. Also...WDWCrazyfromGA...way to go with that last minute cruise! Which Carnival ship did you cruise on? I hope that you had a great time! And...ECBLovesMickey...when you get a chance...could you PM me the Deck 7 graphic...for some reason mine keeps coming out way too small. Lastly...Kathryn...let us know about those mickey ears once they come in...I definitely need to place an order for some!


Hey - CY - your itinerary looks awesome! First Bay Lake Towers then a cruise and then to Animal Kingdom Kidani...sounds like a plan that is going to be very exciting! I need to get working on our details surrounding our cruise...not exactly sure about the details yet...

Since I'm not sure if I've posted on this one yet or not, I will do it anyways. I can't wait for our trip we're taking my DD BF this time around. He has never been on a Disney cruise before and I'd love to get the perspective from a 21-year-old on what he thinks. This will be our 4th (if not our 5th if we can get the 2-day to nowhere). Since my DD will be busy keeping her BF busy and entertained (she's only 19 so she can't go drinking with him) I will be by myself and would love to find people to hang out with while on the cruise. If anyone is also traveling with 18+ kids let me know since we can get them all together also.
