Worked for me - but I had 2 bottles last night. Slept like a baby! (in my defence I did share them with my neighbor... so technicall I only drank ONE bottle.....)

Agreed. But the wine would keep me up all night peeing.

Nope- didn't happen. Slept (or passed out - it's still up for debate) until 6am, went to the bathroom, then back to sleep until 8:30!! It's almost 11 and I think it's nap time because I'm still exhausted!!!!!


Had a very nice sunny and WARM day yesterday afternoon while the kids were outside running around. I actually had on a tank top and shorts - first time this season. When the sun went down it was COLD!!!!

At least tomorrow is a holiday here. It's "Victoria Day" (my daughters name) after the Queen Mum!

I didn't have a sleepless night but all my dreams last night included water everywhere. I am really stressing out about being on the water next week and in my dreams we lived in water

you need to load your picture somewhere online, I used my Picasa via gmail/Google. I want to say shutterfly (?) is another popular site, there's a bunch out there.

once you've got it up online: left click on the picture, then right click on properties at the bottom of the popup and you'll find an online address/URL

copy that entire line

come back here to the boards, start a new reply, click on Insert Image on the above menu (looks like a postcard with mountains)

here where YMMV: I have to delete http:/ from the image link and then paste in the address for my pic. Someone else may not need to do that part.

basically when I preview the message, if there isn't a pic then I know I messed up somewhere.

SillyKaren - love the wedding pics. how gorgeous and awesome! i wish we would have done that!!! Now I've said that I hope my DDs get married at WDW someday! And let me tell ya, so much fun that your hubby will dress up all cute like that in the costume. my DH won't even wear a halloween-y tshirt, let alone a costume! I'll be lucky ifI can get him to wear a white button up shirt with the sleeves rolled up for pirate night!

Hi All, I orders a pillowcase from Gradysmommy back in April, it was mailed usps with a tracking number May 2nd and still no sign of it Starting to get worried that it will not arrive before our cruise. Only 4 more business days with tomorrow being Victoria Day. Has anyone else had any trouble with items shipped from the US to Canada?

Worst case I get a plain white pillowcase & 'trace' the signatures after we get home...hahahaha.

Haven't started packing yet but most of our stuff is laid out on the spare bed! Even printed magnets for our door which I didn't intend on doing. DD(5) loves the pirate & minnie mouse ears. I even broke down and bought her a pirate costume from party packagers today, man it's cute.

Hi Angie, I'm sure they will get along great. My DD(5) - Emily is very social & will likely make a zillion friends...haha. Ran into a lady at Walmart today who was wearing a DCL visor! Her DD is also 5 and said they had a wonderful time on their cruise this past Feb (not on the Dream). Funny the things you notice...before we booked this cruise I'd have never recognized the logo

Now that we are flying in a day early, we will be able to make the cruise meet!! YAY!!

Woo Hoo we are one week from Sail Away party!!!

As promised, maybe late, but done, I created map of the all the FE cabins. For my own benefit, I also needed the roll call, and dismeet times printed out. Sooo, I created a document with all the information. I think I got everything. Anyway, if you just want the map, it's below (in photobucket) or PM me and I can send you the doc. reading some extra stuff on here (not that I have time!), thought I'd share. I don't know about you, but usually I have enough time to keep up with this thread and that's it right now!

Anyways, someone who was on the dream a few weeks ago reported that their family got jellyfish stings at Castaway. She said it was out near the ropes past Pelican Plunge, so it sounds like you had to go pretty far out. The lifeguard said there wasn't anything to worry about, unless you had an allergic reaction (in which case, then is it time to worry). Anyways, "keep a wary eye out me hardies" She said they weren't up by the beach.

Also, word on the street is that the wav-phones in the staterooms are kinda complicated. lots of buttons, no instructions or "press 123 for room service" stuff posted. they said after a few days they figured out that if you press 'zero' you'll get a menu of what to press. now we all know

One of my all time favorite things to do on board is go to the "Match Your Mate" 'gameshow' - I think it's hysterical. Well it's always on the first night of the cruise. There is no way the kids will be able to stay up in the club- they have to get up that morning at 5 for us to catch our plane. They will be wiped!! Odds are, DH will stay with them and I'll come to the 10pm meet. Anyone want to join me for Match Your Mate? at 10:30?? This is assuming I can stay awake!!!

All day today DS was saying "one week from today we'll be on the ship" and trying to figure out when we are on the ship what will we be doing at any given time. He was SO cute, and he kept telling us how excited he was getting.

Not to be a downer, but everyone please keep the people over in Joplin in your prayers. They were hit by a very large tornado earlier tonight that leveled a quite a bit of the town, including severly damaging the main hospital. They probably won't know the full extent til dawn, but it is bad. That is only about 45 minutes from our house and the same storm kept us (and our extended family who don't have basements) down in our basement for quite a while tonight. Normally we should be by the worst of it before now, but it really has been a horrible tornado season this year.

Sorry haven't been on this weekend, just too crazy. Hope to get caught up tomorrow. Be sure and tell the people you love that you do.

This really breaks my heart. I have been in prayer alot lately for my own neighboring cities (I am from Alabama and live about 30 minutes away from some of the hardest hit areas a few weeks ago by F4 and F5 tornadoes). It has done some amazing things. I extreme coupon and I cleaned out my stash along with most of the things in my basement I was going to put on ebay or give to GoodWill. We have also bought several new clothing items and donated them. It is heart breaking. I work at Children's Hospital and I can't begin to tell you how bad it was that night for the kids. There were over 60 traumas, some with no parents surviving and some did not survive themselves. I am so sorry to hear this may have happened to another city. I will pray for your community and also pray that it will come together as we have in Alabama. I have never been prouder to be from Alabama as I am now. Ok, I have to go, I am starting to cry just thinking about it...
