DISNEY DREAM 5-nights May 29th, 2011

Having these times doesn't mean we will all be together. There are 3 dining rooms in rotation, so it would depend on what rotations we all get. It would be neat if all our rotations were the same though.

We should all pick a time during dinner, stand up and wave our arms....:rotfl:

Good day all, :hippie:
This is what was on my balcony this morning:eek:.........................
I need a vacation..... NOW!!:cool2:

Sorry Angie, that looks messy. I am pretty sure we are done with the snow. Just close your eyes and DREAM.....

You really do live in the Great White North!
I would not survive.

Yes born and raised in western Canada. :cool1:You do get used to it tho, at least today it is about zero degrees (= 32 in F ) When it starts to melt there will be lots of water.

Chuck, what kind of camera do you have??

I'm having Attention Deficit Disorder today...it's gorgeous out (but SERIOULSY windy-- welcome to Kansas), I've got a lot to do around the house, I don't have what i need on hand to start my FE gifts yet, and I'm feeling kind of random.

SO.... I thought I would post a random question for our group:

What was the highlight of your most recent Disney cruise?

Other than buying into DVC, our favorite moment was getting on the elevator up at the top deck, and right before the door closed (the six of us were on it), Minnie and her CastMember scooted in with us. It was just us and them, for about a six-floor ride. My dd5 was about to BURST with excitement and my DD1.5 was shaking in my arms she was so nervous/excited/unsure. It was so awesome. Unfortunately, we were in an elevator with 8 people including and I couldn't maneuver at all, let alone fast enough to get the camera out. But I will NEVER forget that moment, and i bet dd won't either!!!!

I have a Canon Rebel XT. I have a good zoom lens that lets me get in for close ups.

2 things.... I love to hear the horn at the sail away party and our server for the week. Her name was Oilvera and all we did was laugh the entire week. It was great.

I'll let you know in 61 days :rotfl2:. Not all of us have cruised before :scared1:

We're early dining too.

As for favorite memory from last cruise- was DD at the sail away party. She was just shy of 3 and LOVED to dance. We were on the deck right in front of the stage and someone handed her a streamer to wave. She was jumping and waving it, dancing all over the place having the greatest time. I wish I knew how to use the movie setting on my camera back then because she was just adorable!!!

I'm thankful it's a beautiful 74 degree day here in Tennessee instead of the snow and cold Angie (GreatWhiteNorth) is having today. We are pretty much in the clear now as far as snow and cold.

My 7 yr old son Matthew had his first baseball game yesterday. The first time he has ever stepped onto a field and he did pretty good. He was the catcher and didn't have a clue what a catcher is. So he probably will be moved at his first practice. This will really cut into our camping this year but it was so fun watching the game.

One of my favorite memories are dinner. We didn't see our kids that much, they love the clubs and all their new friends. We did make sure that they at least showed up to dinner each night. They didn't always stay but always showed up. Since having children this was my first real vacation. This will always be a must for my family. And our wonderful servers Ali and Payna. They would come to the table and see the kids then come right back and they were gone. I hope for the same experience again this time.

would like to surprise DH w/spa service for his b'day--
would appreciate any advice... :confused3
considering the elemis grooming treatment w/shave.. has anyone done this before--if so would you do it again??
recommendations?
Thanks--

My best memory is DH's & my interaction with Captain Jack. He acted leacherous with me and had a very animated conversation with DH.

I have had the swedish massage and the stones. Both were very good. I have a beard so the grooming and shave won't work...:lmao:

If I was given a choice I would go for the massage, but that's just me. Maybe some of the other men can chime in.

Hi Chuck....do you recall your server's last name? Was it Predic and did she look like this?

Now I understand there are many people with the same name but just maybe.... :confused3
