We finally got our room assignment! No pixie dust for us. We were a 5E GTY and we got a 5E. I'm so glad to finally have our room number though... the suspense was killing us!

Welcome Kengo and Family! I have added you to the FE list. You will enjoy the FE. I see this is your 3rd Disney Cruise. You are traveling quite a ways to be with us on this New Years Cruise. Are you staying in Florida for a period of time before or after the cruise? Is Nagino your daughter or son? Sorry to have to ask but I don't want to give an inappropriate gift for the FE.

Been working diligently on our F.E gifts..i have no craftyness in me whatsoever so i hope ppl are not disappointed. DH has been helping with ideas and has his own ideas for the guys in the group . The closer the cruise gets the more excited we become.

Is anyone else going to WDW before the cruise?

My family will be spending 11 days before the cruise at WDW. This will be our first time to actually be at WDW on Christmas Day! We are very excited! This will also be our first time to stay at our "new home" BLT. Plus, we will be bring our niece (12) for her first trip to WDW and her 2nd Disney cruise.

I have been very busy making all kind of plans for WDW; ADR's for all 11 nights, Candle Light Processional with Trace Adkins & Dive Quest at Epcot.

After 11 days in WDW (with 5 teenagers)... DH & I will really need a relaxing 'New Years' Cruise!

Have you checked out the Creative Designs board from the main page? - almost clear at the bottom. I've used 2 different people and both were quick and did exactly what I was wanting. There are lots and lots different things people will do. One person (can't remember who -sorry) has a link to go to their designs. You find one or more, indicate the design name and what you want yours to say. They were awesome.

I can usually manage crowds but the crowds and humidity made me almost croak...plus I was probably tired by then as it was the last day before flying home. Sound like you will get some great days in tho - and yes, you'll be ready for the down time on the boat

I will. I will be at Kidani 12/22 to 12/26. Moving to BLT on the 26th till the 29th. I will be one of the crazies at MK on Xmas day. 8am bkfast at Crystal Palace and Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. We are not leaving. So crowds won't break us.

I am doing Candelight Procession on the 26th with Dinner at Teppan Edo and that fine specimen of man....Blair Underwood for dessert. I know I can only dream.

Got all my ADRs set for each day. Ready to go. I sent two Xmas trees down for the Tree exchange. Both at BLT. Will have one for Kidani for Christmas. No parks until Christmas. First few days relaxing, shopping and going to hotels to view decorations.

I know what you mean. We were in WDW in 2008 for New Years. We went to NYE at Epcot. It was wall to wall people. I had never seen anything like it. Never again.

We were also there 2009. We did a land & sea package... with a few days at WDW before a New Years cruise. The first couple of days the crowds were not to bad. The crowds did get worse every day. I was glad to get on the ship.

This year, from Christmas Day on we plan on taking some long breaks in the middle of the day. Then going back at the end of the night for extra magic hours.

I'm so jealous of everybody that will be at WDW pre-cruise! We're saving up DH's vacation so we can go on some other trips. It's getting so close now I can't believe how fast it's going by.
