Disney Dream 12/29/2011

We have one day before the cruise at WDW 12/27. Staying at OKW. Just enough time to see all the lights. 12/28 We plan on breakfast with local friends, lunch at Sanna some mini golf then off to port.

Not yet -- do they still send them UPS? I don't think they've delivered yet today. I'm in Ann Arbor.

Ours came too! we have two days precruise at WDW. Never did make any dining plans, hmm I forgot.

Our Docs came today:cool1:

we are going to WDW the 19th -24th staying at BLT. ;)

:cheer2::cool1:We got our docs too! :cool1::cheer2:

I was reading everyone else post :surfweb:about getting there docs today. I though...darn we didn't get ours. Then I realized that nobody checked the mail today. ;) I ran out to the mailbox & there where our docs.

Got our documents also. :goodvibes

Nice booklet that they have put together. Much nicer than the envelope from previous years.

Does anyone know if they have changed the Castaway Club stateroom gift? I'm hoping for a different one as I have several of the red/black bags.

Got mine yesterday too. Starting to pull out suitcases. Need to make a mental list of clothing. A month from today will be checking into Kidani.:cool1::banana:

DC I will be yelling your name at BLT when I check in on the 26th. :lmao::rotfl2:

Yep, we got our documents yesterday also! :dance3: It makes it so much more real...I'm getting giddy with excitement. They came via regular mail for us. I do like the new look of the document booklet. I've got ours all rubberbanded to our passports so I hopefully won't forget either of them. Better get my checklist out. I'm gonna try to pack light. When we went to Florida in July, all 4 of us was able to get everything we needed into 1 carry on apiece. Hopefully we can do that this time but we will need 1 extra bag for dress up and 1 bag for FE gifts ;).

Our youngest daughter and I will be at Disney World 12/14-12/17. Crowd levels should be pretty good so we should be able to do and see most everything that we want. If anyone else is going to be there during this time, let me know if you'd like to meet up for some dessert or something. Gotta leave DW late afternoon on the 17th to pick DH and DD up at airport, or not. Been watching Groupon type sites and have picked up an airboat ride and a swim with the manatees to do before the cruises.

I've been updating the FE list. I am waiting on room assignments for: Laniesmom33; Pengwend; and Yokohama55. Once we have those, the list will be finalized unless we have some last minute joiners. The cut off is not until December 1 so please feel free to let me know if you'd like to join.

For those who celebrate, have a lovely Thanksgiving with your family and friends.

I was sitting here debating if I should do 1 check in back and two carryons. I carryon for FE and gifts. Or just two carryons. What to do. What to do.

One year, we had so many FE participants, hence gifts, that I took 4 boxes, the ones that you buy 10 reams of paper in, I filled them up with the gifts, stuff for a treasure hunt we were having in Cozumel, candy for Halloween and my door decorations. I taped them in groups of twos very very well. It wasn't oversized and it wasn't overweight but it sure got the attention of the TSA. They opened and went through all 4 boxes. I have no clue what they were looking for. I might have scared them with my coconut pirate head that I tied to my FE for Halloween. They didn't tape them back together as well as I had taped them for the journey over.

Linda where will you be staying?

Can't wait for this -- our last cruise was the Panama crossing in January and it seems so long ago.

We're coming in on 12/26 and staying 3 nights at the Waldorf Astoria Orlando and then driving out to the port. Have PS ressies for: Chef Mickeys, California Grill, and Hoop Dee Doo.

I think it will be here before we know it.

36 days until the cruise!

Yesterday, I worked on my packing lists for the kids. I also worked on my 'not-to-forget list': my notebook, passports, doc, Christmas gifts, Birthday gifts, FE gifts, etc.

I am hoping to be able to do 1 suitcase for each person, 1 suitcase for all gifts & Christmas Decorations. Plus, a hanging bag. Thankfully, DH travel ALOT for work and has 'elite status' with the airlines...so our bags are free. :thumbsup2

Today, I need to check the kids clothes to see if they have enough "dinner outfits".

Have a great day everyone.

I am trying to some gifts here in the city and the rest in DTD. I need to get a couple of Xmas gifts for my son as well as a bday gift.

When I opened my cruise docs yesterday, I imagined everyone else doing the same thing!

I may need to change my Palo and Remy dinner ressies as my daughter isn't sure she wants to join us on this leg of our B2B. And, if she doesn't, I want to ensure I'm not charged the extra. Does anyone remember what the time period is for changes?

I'm looking at my countdown ticker on my phone and am thinking I cannot possibly have everything ready to go in 35 days (we're leaving the 28th). :scared:
