Disney Dollars?

Does anyone know if you can use Disney Dollars towards your wedding stuff? More specifically, can you put them towards payment for the ceremony package, on-site hotel, MK Photo shoot,...

We are guessing that some of our siblings are going to give us Disney Dollars (likely $100-$300 per sibling). This would be a great help with payment towards our wedding/HM stuff.

Any experience with this?

I'd like to know the answer to this too!! Two of my very best friends have recently become engaged and are dreaming of a WDW wedding! I'd love to be able to give them Disney Dollars to help them out a bit.

You can't use them to pay any portion of your bill from Disney's Fairytale Weddings - they only take check, money order, credit card or wire transfer, and the deposit can't even be paid by credit card.

However, you could use them to pay for your hotel, your meals, recreation, souvenirs - anything you buy at WDW during your stay there!

Thanks Carrie! I guess we can just use them towards our resort stay. We are planning to rent DVC points from a Dis'er for 2/3 of our trip, but we are thinking about FW campsite for a few days, so maybe we could use the Disney Dollars toward that.

We used them for drinks when we went out and on the cruise ship for our honeymoon. It always makes me giggle to pay for adult beverages with Disney Dollars.

I had asked if we could use my Disney Rewards for any of the wedding, and was told it would be best used toward our lodging because they were not set up to take rewards dollars at DFTW. Although they did take our deposit on our credit card. Our Disney Visa! To earn more rewards we can't use for Val's Disney Wedding!

You can also use Disney Dollars or the Disney Reward points for manis and pedis or a much needed massage or spa appointment.

I was told by the wedding cordinator that they do not take the disney dollars or gift cards. I am not sure if it has changed since I asked back in January though
