Disney Dollars - use or sell on ebay

I have quite a few Disney dollars that are in mint condition that I have collected over the years. I was thinking of selling them on ebay as some appear to be quite valuable. I am tired of having 'stuff' in my house that I don't need.

Is it worth it or should I just use them on my next trip?

Whether it is 'worth it' is something that only you can decide. 'Quite valuable' means different things to different people.

If you are in completed listings and they are selling for more than face value then I would say its worth it - you can use more of the real money that you get when you get to Disney. Just make sure you will get more than enough to pay fees.

Bearing in mind, of course, that "quite valuable" is also dependent on when they were issued, which designs they are etc. So just looking on eBay, for instance, be sure what you have is actually something rare or valuable.

Also keep in mind what you will pay to eBay and PayPal in fees to sell them. It would have to be a considerable jump for me to go through the hassle of selling them, the potential of dealing with a buyer who disagrees on your definition of "mint condition," etc.

They still have Disney Dollars at Disney in all $$.
I just got some in July when my DD lost a tooth at Magic Kingdom.
They have them at Town Hall.
