Disney Dollar Question

Hi, all,

A friend of mine just told me that Disney will give you 110% value for every Disney dollar you purchase, i.e. if I buy $100 in Disney dollars, I will actually receive $110.

Is this correct?

I buy Disney Dollars every two weeks (payday's) and I have been doing it the past 2 years. I wish Disney did this. But sorry to say, it is Dollar for Dollar.

I would like to know where your friend is buying their Disney Dollars......

They do come with different characters on them.
Last year I bought Donald, Goofy, Steamboat Willie for DH
Then at the park we got Tinkerbelle (he left his DisDollars at home) and someone else- I forget
This year we have Philharmagic Mickey, Snow White and another princess- I forget.

Last year I had a custom frame made for them and they are hanging in our family room- I know, a waste of money, but for $16 its very cool to look at. Oh, and the backs of the dollars can change too.

I see the official disney world site has an ad for Disney Visa in which you get $25 in Disney dollars when you sign up for thier credit card.....hmmmm
