You also have the Alamo, which I was not allowed to see as my bil did not deem it worthy. The drive through zoo and the beer factory were though. Bil was perplexed because I was far more interested in the books and things in the front case at the Brewery than the beer.

Its sacrilege to come to San Antonio and not go to the Alamo!
Living Treasures Animal Park (drive through zoo) is literally right down the street from me! Did you go in the caves (Natural Bridge Caverns) too?
Haven't made the brewery tour...maybe since I am more of a margarita girl!

hmmm so these is what you gals are doing while I was recuperating from my depression for WDW I was even contemplating of a road trip and just showing my face at your door or Bonzi's or Angela's... and also has been checking flights for that Sticky Toffee Pudding that Diba Kris have mentioned in TX !!!!!!!!

This from the girl who is going back in two months...you won't find any sympathy here...look at my ticker, feel my pain...and Diva Mary isn't making it any better either....first watching her kids, now I am making t-shirts for her and her DH trip!

typing this not to patronize you.... but Yes I love all sorts of tea... I am a fanatic for the teavana stores.. local tea.. imported tea.. and right now.. and I know it has alot of calories... oh well... but I am addcited to Corn Tea that are regularly served in Korean Restaurants... but I try to limit myself to a cup a day.... I love white tea before going to bed... ( grammy is Chinese so we were all brought up with Tea like it is water!!!)... love the Beattles... since I grew up with my dad listening to them.. and Tom Jones and Sherly Basey.. Frank S. and Johhny M and Engelbert H.

I think this was answered I was reading along, finally catching up. But early to mid May. They do the MVMCP then too.

Kris, love the TR and again am sorry we didnt get to meet up. Was a good weekend overall as I met some of my disfriends. Timmy was one! LMAO but Timmy... no alcohol for you! I wasnt prepared for you to get so mellow. I went back the following weekend and met up with a couple of them that were still there, and had fun (as I got some news I was waiting for)! Was a great weekend, and so glad I wasnt alone to celebrate!

Will get another chance to meet up I am sure.

Things are good

after the weekend we were all there, I tried to focus on studying for my Boards, but didnt do that well at all..... and took my Boards on Thursday. So that is all done and out of the way. Now I am trying to get re organized at home and live more of life

hello divas!! We are going on a moms only trip 10/23-10/26. We took families (4) in April, when we planned our food and wine moms trip.

Kristineamb...I have to have the Life Is Good mickey t!! Can you please direct me where to find it? That one is the best I've seen by far

I love all your other shirts as well. I immediately jumped over to ebay for the DISNEY DIVA bling..gotta have it!
We have a suite at Saratoga Springs for now...only 2 of us have committed. trying to convince a few more to get away for the weekend.

I am so glad to have the DIS. DH just doesn't think it is 'normal' for grown women to go to WDW without kids...I love not being normal, but also love to find more of us 'not normal' women around

We are going to have a blast!! I turned 35 this year...so I'm celebrating that as well!

Get a Birthday Diva sash, make matching t-shirts...(the light up tiaras were kind of a bust...hard to carry around all day and hurt our big heads...guess they were made for little divas! ) if you want to draw attention to yourselves!

yeah. DF is a DVC member and that is her home. we went with our families in APril, DH's went home after 3 days, we stayed 5 more. another friend was there with us. so it was 3 moms, and 7 kids!! We got a babysitter one night and went to EPCOT , and we decided wouldn't it be fun to come for a whole trip, just moms. F&W is the perfect time. As for SS, I have always been happy with POP, but to walk out your door and get on the bus...it spoiled me a bit. Our room was so close to the stop, and we also walked to DTD.(Earl of Sandwich!!) I am looking forward to it now that I realized it is only 3 weeks from this Thursday!!

No windows at SSR though... not like at the other resorts that are not DVC. You can decorate the door though (which are metal, so can use magnets)
