Disney discounted room only offer on UK-Expedia; ended 31 March.

I've seen a few people post 10% coupon codes only to have someone point out the fine print that only valid for uk resident. Can anyone confirm if codes have worked for US residents?
i used one of the codes that were only for UK residents and had no issue. i'm from Canada. I did not fill in my address when I booked it though.

Just cancelled my former reservation for All Star Sports resort and made a new booking using the VALENTINES10 code. This again is for UK residents only but I could made the booking without problems. You have to use the mobile app and there is one thing I noticed. When I booked on their regular website there was an option to choose between a king bed and 2 double beds. Using the mobile app I could not see this option. When I received my confirmation however it stated that I requested a king bed. Besides that it was quite worth the effort to cancel and make a new booking :)

I USED THE UK site last year and it was easy as pie. Is there a trick this year? I looked up the cabins at Wilderness lodge and its $500 more than just booking through Disney themselves.

wilderness lodge was my first pick however after seeing the price i moved to animal kingdom lodge. i noticed the same thing you did with wilderness lodge and by switching to akl i saved almost $500 on a one night stay.

I also made a booking via the mobile app. The 10% code worked but the booking states 1 king bed, i need 2 queen obviously. Emailed support if that doesn't work i'll cancel and rebook.

Just an update, now i noticed the price dropped slightly so i also submitted the price guarentee form. Will update with results hopefully 48 hour.

Thank you for this! I was able to save a wee bit more by submitting the form (assuming it is approved). Will have to keep an eye on this over time. Every little bit helps. :)

I had the same problem and emailed support as well. I haven't heared from them yet but I don't know if it's necessary to cancel and rebook. If you check in online 60 days prior to your arrival date you can make some room request. I'm not 100% sure but I believe choosing the type of bed was one of the options. Can anyone confirm this please?

When we used this offer last year we were able to call in and ask for attached rooms and specific locations at POP

Just an update, heard back on the price guarantee, I guess if you use a coupon code the price match is not eligible. In the future I would just cancel and rebook.

With regards to my request for two Queen beds, they replied they made the change although cannot guarantee availability. My reservation still shows 1 king though.

that sucks! i used the mobil code and got 20(wheres the lbs sign??) which is about 30 canadian dollars. since i only have a one night stay it would not be worth it to me to cancel and rebook.

I used Expedia.uk to book our hotel room at ASSp and decided to check for rental car. The rate is pretty good... $229 (148.90 pounds) for a minivan for 6 days in October through Dollar. Assuming my rental car experience would be the same as hotel. Can anyone confirm/have experience with this?

Am I doing something wrong? Perhaps I'm using the wrong currency conversion? The dates I'm checking are considerably more expensive than through Disney. For kicks I just checked Pop Century for 1 night 4/5/2015.

No, I don't think you're doing anything wrong it's just that the lower Expedia rates are not for every day or at every resort so on that date it's more expensive, here's the price I'm getting.

Pop Century Resort Standard View Room 1 Night: Sun, Apr 5 - Mon, Apr 6; Trip Total: £112.93 so $173.88

Whereas for later in the year......

Pop Century Resort Standard View Room 1 Night: Sat, Nov 7 - Sun, Nov 8; Trip Total: £61.56 so $94.78

The selection of this years discounts have unfortunately not been as good as last years, but there's still some heavy discounts to be found for a few dates at selected results such as:-
Animal Kingdom Lodge, Jambo House in a Standard View room over Thanksgiving.

Disney's Rack rate per night. $451
UK Expedia. £130.82, approx $202
Saving $249 over rack rate, that’s 55%.

Thanks, Samaya for this post!
I booked Akl standard view 9/5-9/7/15 for 2 adults and 2 kids. Disney site was $661.50 total. Paid $376.60 (238.60 Gbp) so a savings of $284.90!! Used mobile20new hopefully it will work out ok since I just read it's not a US code. So happy!

I think the Valentine code would have saved you a little more. Great price though!

I tried the valentine's code and it rejected it? I tried several codes from retailmenot lol. That was the first one to work so I went with it.

Just booked Beach Club garden view for 4 nights in March for $1028 vs $1733 through Disney. I have free rooms at either of the Radisson's in Orlando, but I want to stay onsite for at least part of our trip. We are staying our last 2 nights at the Radisson Lake Buena Vista. The rates at BC went up significantly the last 2 nights, so I am going to go with our free 2 nights at Radisson. It will only be one day that we will drive to the parks since we are heading to Clearwater for a night and then driving back to Indiana.
