Disney Dining Plan

Our family includes 2 adults & 2 children. When you purchase the Dining Plan your sit-down meals,counter meals, & snacks are pooled together. Can you use your children's sit-down meals for yourself (adults) and pay cash for theirs (kids)?

I read on another site that people do this to get better value. Can anyone confirm this?

For now, they're not preventing folks from using the plan in that manner.
