Don't worry...I can't go. The baby's due date is July 14th. :goodvibes

Amy :)

Well then HOW in heck are we going to have the live feed from the delivery room!

I had the dream again last night that I was headed to Disney World and hadn't made any shirts. In this dream, I actually hadn't made any plans at all or even packed. In the dream, I did convince dh that we should go again the next year, since I hadn't been able to fully plan. Like that would ever happen! :rotfl:

I read that only 5% of all babies are born on their due dates. My daughter was the only one of mine that hit that nail on the head. Christmas Day, no less.

Due Dates, what are those? :rotfl: DS10 was 10 days early, DS8 was 5 weeks early (a month to the day actually) and DS3 was 3 1/2 weeks early. I can't imagine having to wait until a due date.

So where are the before & after pictures??

Alright ... you're the 2nd one ... so I guess I have to do something. :) I have a before pic. It's a little old. We took it right before DH left for Iraq in Feb 2003. DS wasn't quite 5 yet. He's going on 8 now.

DH is a much greyer now. It's scary just how quickly he greyed over there!

Not sure how I am getting a pic of me. Wonder if I can shoot it using a mirror ........

The new color is not too different. We couldn' tfind an exact match ... so I went a bit lighter. It was nice that it didn't trun ORANGE like in high school!!!

Too fun!!! You met your DH on a blind date???

I did too! My sister set up up. I still call him my "in between guy". Ya know how after a long relationship, you're supposed to have that quick casual yet fun relationship? The in between guy! LOL My DH is IT!

Oh Lisa! That's simple! We'll just have a big screen TV (we are talking live feed on tv right?!?!? ;) )on the tour bus and we'll stop and watch the birth when it happens. We'll assign someone to be on the bus at all times so we don't miss a thing!

Brendita- can you install a satallite on the bus? Does anyone have wireless out there????

I don't call them buckeyes, because all the buckeyes I've eaten seem "dryer" than these peanut butter balls. Plus, when I dip them, I cover the whole thing in chocolate.

Here's my recipe:

1 cup peanut butter
2 sticks butter
3 oz cream cheese
1 lb powdered (confectionary) sugar
chocolate melting disks

Let the butter and cream cheese soften. Then blend the butter, cream cheese, and peanut butter together. Slowly add the powdered sugar.

Refrigerate for a few hours then roll into small balls. I place them on wax paper on a cookie sheet and put them in the freezer.

Microwave your chocolate disks very carefully...only about 20 seconds at a time. Don't overheat the chocolate or it won't set. Keep stirring after the 20 second intervals until the chocolate is melted.

Take 6-8 peanut butter balls out of the freezer at a time...dip them in chocolate using a dipping spoon, so the excess chocolate drips off. Place on wax paper and let set. Sometimes the chocolate cracks, due to the cold/warm combination. I just redip those, so they're extra-chocolatey!

You might have to reheat your chocolate or melt more disks, if you run low.

The most important thing about this recipe, is these have to stay refrigerated due to the butter and cream cheese. They are delicious cold. When I serve them, I only bring a few out a time and I keep refilling the dish.

For some crazy reason, I made a double recipe yesterday, so I have over 200 of them! My sister and father-in-law will get their own tin, because they love them as much as me. :teeth:

Hope that all made sense!

I have a nephew who was born on Christmas

my sister was due on Dec 21 and tried to talk the doctor into inducing her - he said nope - I am inducing everyone who is a week late so I don't have to work on Christmas - my sister showed him!!! :rotfl:

I always feel bad for Adam though b/c his birthday seems so secondary - this year we are celebrating Christmas on Friday so my brother can go to his in-laws and all the other kids decided that was great b/c now they can have a big Birthday party for Adam on his birthday and it will only be his birthday - they are all pretty sweet kids!!

Last week DH was getting ready to read the Christmas story to Julia and he said - "Whose birthday do we celebrate on Christmas?" Julia's answer was "Adam's" :rotfl2: DH was not so amused - he is dreading her answer at Sunday school!!

Ah Amy...... you'll be in labor- and never even know we're there! It'll be ok!!! PROMISE!

Where's the image of the bus with a satallite on top? Maybe she'll start to warm up to the idea if she sees it's not too tacky looking!

Thanks for the wishes regarding our furnace. I was so freaked out about it last night when I posted, that I didn't realize that I made it sound like we didn't have any heat at all. All I had running through my head was "We are gonna freeze!!" Anyway, by the time I got home, the repairman had come and gone, and the furnace was working. Something about a bad thingamadoflicky. So $145 for an afterhours callout. OUCH. We still haven't paid for the part and I don't know how much that is going to be. He will bill us.
