Just wanted to brag that I received my 2006-07 DVC Vacation Planner today. My next trip is planned (DD's Spring Break, 3/19-3/24) and am in the process of planning a December trip as well. DH saw my reaction to the Food Channel Holidays at WDW special and said we "could go if it will make you happy." Like there's an "if" involved!

It was okay - they had a Santa shop for the kids - the stuff was horrible and expensive - that was $20 down the drain!!

It was not well organized - but Julia and Nick had a great time - isn't that what counts? It had a ton of home based businesses selling stuff - and about 6 games and cookie decorationg and 2 crafts -

Hey did you guys see the annoucment that the boards will be down for 1-2 hrs at midnight eastern standard time. They said they are moving the servers behind more secure firewalls.

We only have 150 points as well. I'm hoping we find a huge pile of money soon, though. Our March trip will be our first time in a 1-BR, so I'm afraid we'll be dying to add on when we get back. The December trip, if it happens, will be on borrowed points. And I was so proud that our 1-BR trip only needed 3 points borrowed from our 2007 use year!

My secret is that we go Sun-Fri, stay in studios (until now), and go in the low point seasons. Now that DD is in Kindergarten, however, the low point seasons will be a little harder to manage.

LOL Quite possibly! Mine is muttering to himself right now I'm sure! I realized at about 7pm that the McDonald's Best Buy bucks expire tonight! I said it was him or me and he opted to go.

He's happy to get free stuff ... just really doesn't want to be out tonight ....

How did the birthday party go????

Whew....amazing quite well. Thanks for asking. But I am exhausted. I spent all morning decorating and getting the house and food ready. Kids started arriving at 1:30. There were 12, including my two. They played outside for awhile, then a few games in the house, to include the pinata. Then food, presents and cake. We were done by 4 and I had 3 moms and DH to help manage everything. Nicholas had a blast and he got alot of cool presents.

Elin - I see you were on here posting at 6:30 so I guess that means that you didn't go down to the parade. At 4:45 we decided we would go. Needless to say we had to park far away, as in Chatham, and walk across the bridge. It was cold, but not as bad as I thought it would be, and we bundled up good. The kids liked it. Now Nicholas wants to play the drums and Alyssa wants to be a cheerleader!

I love the snowglobes (forgot who posted them.)

Don't think of it as a snub - think of it as the queen is VERY jealous of you

but I have no right to be - last year I spent 27 days at WDW!!!! Thus why I don't have points until 2007!!!

also - don't do the one bedroom - once you do - there is NO going back!! Luckily DH agrees that once we have the money - translation: once this contract is paid off - we can probably add on!!
