Chex is a brand of cereal similar to shredded wheat (which I assume are your "shreddies")

No, we do have shredded wheat and "spoon size" shredded wheat, but we also have Shreddies which look like the picture on the Chex website. Thanks for the offer of posting anyway!

ETA cheez-its - what are they like? Small cheesy crackers? (like Ritz or Cheddars)? Or are they those little tiny biscuits people put in bowls at parties - usually shaped like card suits (diamonds, hearts etc.) - we have those

Pretzels we can do - the thin crispy brown shaped ones in salt, salt & blackpepper or cream cheese and chive.

I love how your American recipes mix things together from ready-prepared stuff: all our recipes seem to involve arms in basins of flour!

Kate - have you tried recently? Word out on the DVC boards is that it is now "unofficial policy" to allow 5. They will provide 5 room cards, just not any additional bedding, and won't bring in a roll away. This is for 1 bedrooms, not studios. I haven't tried it, this is just what is being reported.

OMG!! That would be so awesome - this was the last time I could legally take my mom with us!! I would love if she could keep going - not that she wouldn't but I like the EMH access!!!!

Disney is launching a new website - it is a personal organization site with links and a personal calender and to do list -

They invited me to be a preview family for the site and take surveys to help them make changes to it!! I think it will officially launch in January -

I am so excited!! DH would say this is another sign that I am TOO obsessed with Disney!!!

All this talk about DVC.....could one of you who belong either post or PM me with what happens when you meet with one of the sales people down there. Is it time consuming?

I think it is an hour or two - we had NO intention of buying - I ran upon them while we were at MGM - and we went the next day - it was not a hard sell - we took a few days to think about it - but he knew exactly how to convince my DH we should do it!!!

If you want to try to set up an appointment with my guide - let me know - also - if you are in the park - they will come - pick you up - and then take you back -I only mention this b/c if you have a day when you might go and are going back to the park - I think they will give you fastpasses for the time you are away - might want to check on this!

Cheez-its are small cheeze crackers also called Cheez-Nips. I suppose you could use the Ritz cheddar crackers but they are much larger and not so cheesy. About 3/4" square is what I use.

I would suggest the thin brown salted ones... not the others

Oh, we have those kinds of recipes too! But this is what happens to be in this. Of course the shortbread I make has only sugar, flour and butter.

We did not go to the presentation but while we were there a man walked up to my husband who had his AL shirt on and gave him 4 special fastpasses. He said he was looking for a AL fan to give them to because he had to leave that day. They were great. They lasted for 48 hours. You put them in the fastpass machine & they gave you fastpasses for right then. They would give you 2 a ticket so that gave us 8. I am not sure exactly how they worked because we did not have the rules. It seemed like we could get they 2 fastpasses off of each ticket only once a day. But it started over at each park. They really helped us the 2 days we were there. My husband & I decided it might be worth the time just to get the fastpasses. But don't wait till the end of your trip or you won't get to use them.
