Oh yeah - I forgot about the zoo - Julia is going with my parents next Thursday to Festival of Lights - so I don't want to take her and steal their thunder - and then I think taking her again 2 nights later would be a bad idea - but I REALLY want to meet you - let's definately try to plan something soon!!!!!

I was just giving you a hard time... has Julia been to the FOL? She'll love it! We'll get together sometime..... goodness knows when, though with all that's going on + the holidays! No worries, we'll figure it out someday

Maybe once we get settled in (haha.... if it's not already time to move again) then I'll host game night #2

if I had already finished Julia's shopping - I would have been awfully sad when she started squealing in the car today -

Mommy - they have a doll that looks like me now!!! American Girl just released a curly haired doll - Julia is always asking for one that has curly hair like her!!! We are so excited!!! The skin is a little dark but close enough!!!

How exciting! I always LOVED American Girl, especially Kirsten.... because she looked like me! I'm glad Julia found her

Thanks for your views. I am going to call tomorrow ... just to see.
If SoG is full and I can get an overflow rate at another hotel ... I will offer that option to her. BUT .... I am not changing the rest of my plans!

I agree with the others. You were incredibly generous to offer to help in the first place, and now you should just go and enjoy the Poly and YOUR trip with your son. I would suggest (as someone else said) that she stay offsite or at one of the AS resorts and meet up with you whenever she can/chooses, but you do your trip as YOU have planned. Good luck, and then STOP FEELING GUILTY!

(I'm with you though.I have more trouble with guilt than anyone I know )

But seriously, DON'T FEEL GUILTY!

We actually have a predicament with anyone hosting game night but Kate. You see, Julia is afraid of dogs and we have a black lab. Not to mention, they are allergic to cats, and we have two.

Denise - you should go buy rechargeable batteries - you can buy them with a charger for about 9.99 -

Nickel Metal Hydride -- NiMH -- are the best. They also sell a 15 minute charger for them. I bought mine at Wal-Mart.

My old camera said NOT to use rechargeable batteries. I have NO idea why -- but I did and never had a problem.

Unfortunatle, my new one has a special battery.

AN ALBERTA CLIPPER TYPE STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING MESSY TRAVEL WEATHER TO SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND FOR THANKSGIVING DAY. WHETHER BY LAND...SEA...OR AIR...TRAVEL ON THURSDAY WILL BE IMPACTED.

Thank God I am leaving today! I wouldn't want to be stuck in anything messy, wet and cold. Anyone driving in MA/NH/RI/CT areas tomorrow, please drive carefully.

Well, we have a dog too... so even WITH toys, it would be a no-go. Although by #100 Julia will be much older and may be ok with dogs by then Besides, ours is 8lbs.... maybe she wouldn't mind so much?

I was very excited about the snow! But now its harder.... and we're driving to storage, etc with boxes in the back of the truck. I called my dad and told him we need to get going, because this is IT. I can't put it off any longer, we turn in the keys at 4:30 today!

NO! Don't get sick. If you think you really are sick, however, get to the Dr. ASAP and get started on the meds now. You will be right as rain by the time you leave.
