Hi, triplefigs! I just bought a 1G mini SD card for my Canon. The guy at Best Buy said that it can hold 500 to 1000+ pics, depending on what resolution I have it set on. Good luck finding the right card for you!

I have heard mixed reviews on buying the larger cards. Benefit is less cards to carry. Drawback is if you lose the card you lose everything and likewise if the card gets corrupted. If you spread you photos out on smaller cards you would still have some photos if something happens to one card.

No, I was considering looking into it this time down, but I don't know. We will prob. do Pop Century, unless there is a discount code. This trip will have to be CHEAP because we are going in April, 2007 for Alyssa's 5th bday, and will splurge on that trip. I'm thinking Oct. 26-30, so Nicholas will only miss 2 days of school.

Great news!!
It is just the 3 of us for Thanksgiving.
No house full of people to cook & clean up after.
Don't get me wrong I love our large family.
Just sometimes it nice to be just ours.
Not always yours, mine, & ours.
4 his, 3 mine, 1 ours & 4 his grandkids.
Going to Old Country Buffet for a late lunch.

Oh .. and if your digital camera takes a special battery ... like something you can' tbuy in the parks ... consider buying an extra. That would be awful to be there with no juice!

We were originally booked at Pop for Dec. until the discounts came out and we upgraded to POFQ. Anyway, from what I understand, all 3 AS's share a bus and Pop has it's own. Plus it is a bit newer. Other than than that, no real reason. Plus my TA from Small World Vacations spoke highly of Pop.

the SD card will be

39.99 at Best Buy, CompUSA and Staples - I would not reccomend anything less than 1GB - it will hold all the pictures you could possible take there!!

Staples also has a 512 for 14.99 - two of these would have the same storage capacity as a 1Gb - some people like to have two cards in case they lose one - not everything is lost

That is true! Yikes! I guess it is a good thing that my DH is bringing his laptop so we can put all the pics on disc and clear the card every night after being out.

We stayed at both Pop and POFQ last trip. We liked both, but would probably do POFQ next trip. It is smaller, more tastefully decorated and has a bit more space as well as a fridge. Pop has the over the top theming, is large, but still easy to navigate, and has it's own bus route. We had a rental car the whole trip and will definately do that on future trips. It was so easy and much faster than Disney Transportation. We had the AAA parking pass so it worked out perfectly. Sometime I will finish my trip report.
