Denise, you will LOVE the new Harry Potter movie. I saw it on Saturday. There were scenes when I thought to myself "I've seen this before" then realized it was because it was just like I pictured it in my head when I was reading the book!

I'm soooo excited. At the doctor appt they had a magazine with all the HP movie stuff. Rees is so mad I won't take him with me! BTW, he's fine. He has several medical issues that necessitates appts every 3 months.

I did it!

I called SoG this morning ... waited a half hour for a human .. and they had room. I asked about cancellign since we are already in the 30 day window .. and basically, I would lose a night. I saod OK .. and needed to figure out plane ressies. I hung up and then I asked myself -- WHAT THE HECK AM I DOING??????


I called her and told her there was no room at SoG and if she wanted, I could help her find space at the All-Stars or Pop. She wasn't interested and said -- we'll just pass It wasn't meant to be.

DONE! It's DONE!

I still have ears for her kids .... So .. I will give them when we come back -- as souveniers. They don't know they were bought last May - and probably won't care. If Mom cares ... well ... sorry charlie. I bought them on good faith that we were all going.


BTW .. abiout going on a trip with people of different means .... that's not exactly true here. We both have about the same incomes ... problem is, we don't have to pay for a room, air, or any park tix etc. When we went last Feb -- we brought sandwiches into the park .. cause we could just about afford to go. Restaurants were out of the question. So, this time ... we're able to do that ... and it's nice.


I think the only thing I have left to do is call the kennel for my pup.

Good decision! Now go and have a blast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK ... 3rd pie done ... all that's left is the squash pie.

Did I mention .. I'm waiting on this same neighbor for the recipe. If all else fails ... there is one on the can!!!!


Oh .. .and I realized as I was baking last night ... my nephews girlfriend is a student at Johnson & Wales Culinary ... and wants to be a pastry chef! I Hope she'll go easy on me!!!!

I made a lattice on top of the blueberry ... I'm patting myself on the back for that one!!!

Denise - don't know if anyone has responded to you yet, but Office Depot has a good deal on a SanDisk 1 GB Memory Card that we're going to try to nab for our trip (we leave Monday - I'll look for you!). It originally is priced at $99 - they're selling it for like $55, and then there are a couple of mail-in rebates - the final price is $29.99. Good deal, and a 1 GB will hold a lot of pics!

OD pulled their ads from all the BF sites, but now have their ad up on their website - you can browse it, print it out, etc. www.officedepot.com

Good luck to all those shopping BF - haven't been out in years (my shopping's almost done), but want this memory card and the HP 8250 I've already purchased elsewhere for my MIL. I can get it $50 cheaper!

I am sooo behind on this post, will catch up, but need to keep going here, days are moving fast! I just finished our mother-daughter MVMCP design , (added in my siggy too).

How does the design look? I found a picture online of Mickey with Regis and Kelly and replaced them with me and my DD

Well - I think if you take it they giev you a card for a couple of fastpasses - that alone could convince him - then when you go next year you can stay at WL

and when we go in 2007 - we can stay at BWV!!!

Kate - I love this! but we aren't going cold next year.

Well we just made reservations for next year. Instead of November (like we just did), we are doing August at BWV. I can't believe we are going at the busiest time of the year and the hottest time of the year . We pulled DS11 out of middle school and even though he got all of his homework done (and he is a straight A student), he freaked out when he went back Monday and found there were 2 tests this week (even though they gave him until next Monday to take them). Just too stressful for him and he is a huge worry wort. So we first picked Columbus Day weekend (we have a 5 day weekend), but for some reason, that didn't work, so we went with August 5 - 11 (maybe a couple of more days at Universal - I don't know), but those days at BWV, standard view 1 bedroom. That's all the points I had.

I see lots of TGM advice. Early into the parks and out by noon to head to the water parks or pool.

Hey, how come there is no picture in your sig? Something new coming?

Have a wonderful time this weekend. DH and I are taking our kids and DN21 to HPGOF on Thursday night. Partly Thanksgiving night tradition and partly DN21's birthday present.

I might take kids to see Yours, Mine and Ours tonight. Looks like fun!
