Lisa - they are 6x6- I actually bought 12x12 at Michaels - printed on them as 6x12 and then cut in half -

I got the clear protectors from Michaels that you are talking about - you could also make them 4x6 and then put them in a normal photo alum with your pictures

the font I used is from dafont.com and is called walt disney script

Thanks! I found Walt Disney font at Fonts for Kids. :) I did find 6x6 paper at Michael's but all they had was dark or a marble look. I went with the marble -- not textured -- just a look.

Did they have the 6x6's a large packages? Or only like 10 to a package? I had seen them previously, but of course, since they are sale -- they're all out right now. I posted to the SB board hoping someone would know where to get more .....

Did you do your left side pages when you got back? I guess I don't really need them before I go, right?

I also have many interesting airline stories. :earseek:

My choir director had two boys. She was pregnant with her third child, the doctors and everyone else kept telling her, she was having a girl, even the doctor in the delivery room, said he knew she was having a girl.

Well lo and behold the doctor said you have a son. She said are you sure? Is there really something between the legs. She could not believe after everyone telling her for many months, she was having a girl, that she had another boy.

All of the lovely princess type stuff which was given as gifts and I mean tons of it had to go back and be replaced which boy stuff. Even the room had to be repainted because they thought they were having a princess, instead they had another prince. Since she had gotten rid of all the stuff from her other boys she didn't have any baby stuff anymore. Because her husband had been snipped and they never expected to have another kid, they hadn't kept any of the baby stuff. Talk about a suprise.

This is EXACTLY why I don't want to know. I know it doesn't happen often, but it happens. :earseek:

I had a friend who was told she was having a boy - guess what!!!

They sent a counselor into her room to help her cope with the fact that she had a girl instead of a boy - she was like - are youfreaking kidding me? I am just ecstatic she is healthy - I don't care what she is - of course she did cry to her mom that she had only brought blue stuff to the hospital and could she go shopping for a take me home outfit!! :rotfl:

Congrats to Amy, Kevin, and Alyssa! :cheer2:

How old will Alyssa be when her sibling is born? DD was 35 months old, which hadn't been our plan (wanted them 2 years apart), but it was wonderful anyway.

Even though I'm guessing Alyssa will be younger than that, I highly recommend reading her the book "I'm a Big Sister Now" as the due date gets closer. DMIL got it for DD and it helped tremendously. No jealousy when DS was born because -- as the book explains -- even though the baby needs a lot of attention, babies are too little to play on a playground or eat ice cream or do all the other fun things the big sister is old enough to do.

We also threw a "birthday" party at the hospital so DD and her best friend could eat cake in honor of the baby. And I read somewhere that it helps if the baby "gives" the big sibling a present, so we did that too.

Alyssa will be 27 months. :goodvibes

I love these ideas. Thanks so much for sharing!

Amy :)

If you all hurry up, I can be here when we hit 16,000. If not, I am going to bed.

Tammi -

there is a very distinct possibility I will be in DV this summer!!! Marty said she might try to come down if we can persuade Denise to come up!!

Let's go then....who is here that hasn't had a milestone?

Long day Tammi? Building a snowman can be exhausting! :teeth:

I think everyone on has one - should it be a free for all?
