SURPRISE! SURPRISE! SURPRISE!

The paper arrived. I will start sorting out tonight and get it in the mail tomorrow and friday.

Thanks for bearing with me.

Oh by the way, can I say I took babysitting responsibilities tonight so the wife and her sister could do a girls night out at some sappy movie.

Mya was a real big help with my two month old niece Karys. I forgot how stinky a small child could get a diaper, or how to swaddle them in blankets.

Whew, now she's asleep though.
What a good husband!! I have a family shopping trip this weekend w/ mom, aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, daughter, daughter-in-law.....I think that is everyone. My husband is going to entertain my boys for the weekend. He knows I can't enjoy my time away unless my boys are having fun. You and Paul (hunka, hunka burnin love)sound like two "one of a kind" husbands. Of course I have one also so I glad God produced ya'll in bulk.

My dh will also take the boys so I can enjoy a shopping day. That reminds me to have him take the day after Thanksgiving off. I get most of my Christmas Shopping done on Black Friday.

Mac,,,you are a good guy. Been married for 36 years and i must admit that DH did not hesitate to help with the kids. He knew that I needed the ME time
Keep it up....And as all the others have said, your little one is just so cute,,,,i wanna just kiss her cheeks. Those of us who have kids who are challenged,,,we know how to cope with it all. it just helps to have a very good support group

I finally caught up!

Loved all of the pictures of the kids (and families!!) in their costumes! So cute.

Loved your house triplefigs, and the craved pumpkins... can't remember... should have taken notes....

Thanks for the sentiments Paul and Marti. Hope Marti feels better soon.

This one is tinker1bell and me:
Remember:
"A good friend will come bail you out of jail....
But a true friend will be sitting next to you saying ....
WE screwed up! " or We had a blast!

I'm so sorry I didn't make it back to say bye to Clare. Have a wonderful wedding!! Loved the shirt Kate for us to crash the wedding!!!

Off to bed. Feel better Denise!

BTW tinker1bell makes great potato salad. Plenty of requests.

10,000 here we come!!! :goodvibes :goodvibes

You know what tiner1bell? We need tickers. counters... whatever. The best way to fight the post-Disney trip depression is to plan another trip. :hourglass

Yes, Yes! :Pinkbounc I think that is a great idea! You could all stay at my house! And if there are too many of you, PNO4TE lives about a mile away from me. How cool would that be??

Elin - if you have a bunch of crazy ladies (and a crazy man or two) wearing Disney shirts come knocking at your door, with suitcases in hand - sorry, it's my fault....:confused3

Another benefit to DC/Virginia is that Deb Wills live around the DC metropolitan area too. Maybe we can convert her!

Tammi -- don't know about your DH, but that might end a 32 year marriage at my house!

I don't remember where I read this on the DIS, but not too long ago there was a posting about email notifications. I know that AOL members either cannot or hardly ever get them anymore and there may be other servers who block or discourage those kinds of emails. I am not totally sure that the fault is at the DIS.

I am subscribed to 2 threads and never get email notification anymore (I am on AOL). I am tempted to switch to my Cox.net email and see if they start coming again.

Join in the craziness.... :goodvibes

I merrily flipped my image, (fortunately :earseek: ) did a test printout and - it flipped it back again!

If you set your printer for transfer paper keep an eye on this - it could cost you otherwise :badpc: :badpc:

I would love to post pictures of my shirts I made for my family for our vaction, but I am at a loss, anyone have easy instructions or a link to one that would point me in the right direction? BTW, Mickey at Chef Mickey's LOVED the shirts the kids had on (they were the small characters with the kids names, thanks to Kate) He kept pointing to them. And yes, I wore mine too and he sort of made a gesture, like "why aren't the other "grownups" wearing theirs?" I think my DH and my 2 friends were embarrased cause they got the wrong kind of attention from Mickey!!!! THe kids thought it was cool that Mickey noticed. And I made sea world shamu shirts for our Spooktacular day there and most of the employees (they aren't CM"S, what are they?) noticed and commented on the shirts too.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you and really want to post the pics of them, so if anyone can help me out, Thanks!!! :goodvibes

Kate..........thanks so much for the "Incredible Designs". I was offered 4 tickets to Disney on Ice w/ The Incredibles so my DD and DDIL are taking my two grandkids. I finished their t-shirts last night and they are going to love them. I can't believe that they are going to see Mickey and Minnie without me. I would have liked to go but my youngest has basketball tryouts tonight so I had to pass. My DDIL has a digital camera and said she would take pictures.....so if I can figure out how to post them I will. THANKS AGAIN!!!

I've just made up my shirts for my DS 6th birthday party next week! Thanks julia&nicks mom for the designs - they came out great!

I had a moment of inspiration  and ironed them on my ceramic hob, using a small tablecloth folded underneath. I don't know how well they'll wear, but its not like I can hand them on to anyone :rotfl:

I'll try and post pics of the kids in the shirts. Next week I'm ging to make the Christmas pillowcases - thanks KMH1 for the monorail design

If you want to email them to me - feldmannk@yahoo.com - I can post them for you

Dizney-crusier - Thanks and Welcome - please jump on in!! I didn't mean to imply that you ALL hated us - just that we might have overwhelmed a pretty calm board!

Marcij & JnEsWDWMom - Thank you!

Elin - my DH would probably feel the same way!

This is completely OT (which is routine for this thread nowadays, so I don't feel bad about asking), but, I am 4 weeks away from a Power Rangers themed bday party for a bunch of 6 yr. olds. Do any of you have any ideas for games that they could play that would go along with this theme? I figure for as creative as you all are, someone might be able to help me out.

Amen to that! Normally, I go with my Mom and my nephew -- who is now 18 but has been coming since he was 13. Mom thinks it may be too much for her, so she will stay home with DS and DH will go. He's thrilled! He LOVES the excitement of it all cause it's not "real" shopping -- it's GUY shopping! Hunt It --> Bag It --> Move On!

KMH1 Do you have your monorail designs posted somewhere??
