I did this before I say Missy's offer -

there is more clipart on this page too

First off ... I thnk I LOVE you people! :) You're amazing!!!
Thank you!

Aren't the images you pointed me to too small to be used on a shirt? Wouldn't they pixelate? I had seen them -- but I was looking for big pics.

Oh ... and I LOVE the one I did find. :) ... so no worries there.

when you click on the little one - it takes you to a bigger version of it = I use that sight for almost all of my clipart - it should enlarge just fine

Thanks! I just thought it should be bigger. Guess I was wrong -- you're the master (and I bow humbly to kiss your ring!)

BTW ... if I would like something personalized, I should be PMing you, right? I just realized I was asking on the boards and it's preobably not s easy for you to keep track of them that way.

About the DARK transfers ... any blank space will appear as white onthe shirt, right? So those are the ones you need to cut closely? I am tryign to figure out if it's better to go with light or dark sheets. I've used the Avery sheets with great success -- but only the light ones. I've never used the dark before. I am really liking the idea of sme dark blue and black shirts ... so it would HAVE to be the dark transfer paper. I know you think the Ebay stuff was great amd I think that's what I'm going to try to get -- at least for the dark.

It is easier to keep track of requests in my pm's but I do try to get them in here too! sometimes if the request is simple - I just do it and post it - if I am already working on designs

I have never done the transfer part before. I have a design done that is going on black. I also got the dark ebay transfers and got the tees today. I am ready to go, but scared to screw it up. And boy I hope I do not run out of ink or there is another ca-ching!

Wish me luck this weekend!

OOOWWW!!!! I am hurting just thinking about those ear stories. Hope all is well with little Nick.:wizard: Hopefully Julia will not have a calling to be a nurse. Sounds like her bedside manner is not so gentle.;)

Oh honey! I don't even BEGIn to know where to start! LOL I copied the file and TRIED to edit it. Let's just say I'm real happy I copied BEFORE I played!!!

I don't have PhotoImpact. I have Adobe PhotoShop ... and someday ... I might even learn how to use it! (it's a goal of mine!)

Help with this would be super -- thank you!

Lisa

Glad Kate was able to do it for you so fast. I was at work, no Photoshop there :(

I do not know anything about PhotoImpact, but I have PhotoShop and can get around it ok. I know it can do way more than I can handle! And helpful hint ........ always SAVE SAVE SAVE anything before you change it LOL And as my sis says "LAYERS ARE YOUR FRIEND!" :rotfl:

Kate,

Make sure you let us know how the DR's goes with that ear :listen: !

OK I'm curious what does it stand for?

I thought I'd answer this one... Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow...

I learnt that at the Walt walk through at MGM last trip :0)

Busy night for you guys - Kate how is Nick's ear today?

I finished work yesterday so today is officially the start of my four week vacation even though we don't fly until Thursday! :cheer2:

I think I'm getting my boss' cold though and he'e been sneezing and blowing his nose all week! I must get some sleep to try and stop it in its tracks - but that's difficult when I have two cats who wake me up at 7am for breakfast... even when I'm on holiday :0(

Rosiejo -- how excited you must be -- a four week vacation, including your wedding. Wishing you safe travels, great weather and many, many years of happiness with you DH2B.

Rosiejo - good luck for your wedding

You could go with an intimate - up to 12(?) guests
Trouble is with four of us and my DSis and her family we're up to 10 already, though as she was my chief bridesmaid and DBIL was best man you could argue we won't need any more, especially if my mother won't fly that far (and MIL not that keen on flying either).

disneyeveryyear - my father died of pancreatic cancer the very day I went back to work after having DS(12) (who was then 4 1/2 months). I still well up thiking of it, and anything about deaths or fathers sets me off boo-hooing  Make sure you explain to DS that you are sad for yourself as well because of the memories it brings back, in case he feels he should be even more upset than he is. (if that makes sense)

disneyeveryyear- so sorry to hear about DS teacher. My DD had a coach that died while she was in school- and this coach was the father of one of her teammates. It was very hard, but she did far better then I expected. I think often kids rise to the occasion and see where support for the family suffering is needed and they become quite strong. I'm sure your son will be ok after the initial shock wears off.

Rosiejo!!!! You're getting so close! WOOOOHOOOOOOO!!!! I don't think I'd be sleeping much if I wear you! It's good you have evereything packed- just don't forget the rings! It would be way to far to go back and get them! I'm gonna be staying at the AKL on Friday November 18th. Can you post a picture of you so if I see you I can say hi?

hey guys

Nick had a great night and seems fine -I am praying the wound is superficial!!

We are headed to the doctor and out for the day if all goes well -I didn't want you guys worrying when I don't check in - I will post when we get home later tonight!!

kate

Kate - glad Nick is feeling better today - hope it's all on the mend

Karebear - I haven't got many pictures of me (I'm usually the one behind the camera) but I thought you might all get a laugh out of this one:

It was taken at my hen party

what a great picture

I was so quick at the doctor Steve and Julia didn't even get ready to leave - so her I am back home - she took a chunk out of his ear canal - but didn't get his ear drum - so we just have to put ear drops in for a week and he will be fine - thank goodness!! now we can have a great weekend!!!

No no no ... it was a BETTER answer ... considering we were talking about Disney raising prices

Hello, hello!

We just got back from a sneak peek of Chicken Little...Alyssa sat still for 99% of the movie! I guess I let her watch too much TV at home...she was mesmerized!

Anyway, I thought it was pretty good...though there aren't really any original songs, you'll enjoy the music and they did a great job of casting voices. Zach Braff (I love Scrubs!) is a great Chicken Little! The animation was well-done and though there is a little "potty talk," I think kids of all ages will like it.

Thinking of you all!
Amy :)

BEAUTIFUL!! I'm gonna print that picture right up and take it with me to WDW! Then, on Friday night, I think I'll have me one of those "hidden rosiejo" hunts! I'm gonna be looking for you girlie........so if you happen to see 3 middle aged women- 2 with dark hair and a pooh shaped blond (that would be ME!;)), looking in all the nooks and crannies of AKL, then you'll know it's us- so come and say hi.

OK all you tie Dye experts out there. I've finally started my tshirts!!! I traced, basted, pulled and rubber banded to the best of my abilities- and they are now soaking in the powder (ash) for 20 minutes. The only thing that I can tell that I did wrong so far is that I mixed the poweder in my laundry room sink- which left the water not too deep! So..... I'm gonna do 20 minutes to each side of the shirt, because only about half the shirt is emerged in the water. Do you think that'll be ok to do?

I finished my luggage tags, and i'm onto the pillow cases now! I'll try to post a picture of all when I'm done.

Kate - glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it could have been! Have a great afternoon out!

Rosiejo - what a fun picture! Good luck as you tie all the lose ends together.... I can't imagine how excited you are!

Amy - thanks for making us jealous ;) No, just kidding.... I just missed the free screening and can't WAIT until the movie comes out! Not much longer now...
