Oh .. and I'm LOVING the new Max design!

I made a mistake and actually asked my DH how many t-shirts he thought I should make.
His reply: one
Mine: per day?
Him: jaw drops on the floor and walks away shaking his head in disbelief

Wow! They're fantastic!
I love the mickey mouse - and the May the mouse be with you shirt looks great - I didn't really like the design when I saw it as a design (sorry!) but on a shirt you can see the detail and I'm converted! Wonder if my DH2B might like that one...

Hi Everyone,
I have missed all of you!!
Sometimes life is a B.
I don't want to get into it.
As I don't want to Offend.

As to my reponse to this quote.
Does this man not understand that it's not about the poop.
We are all concerned about Triplefigs little boy.
As a parent how many times have we had to laugh & joke.
Just to keep on going day to day.
By the way she did post on a different thread.
This just happens to be HOME.
Just M.O.

Brendita,

I'm so glad to see a post from you! I've been thinking about you and praying for you for the last few days! I hope that all is well with you. You have been greatly missed!

julia & nicks mom~

I hope you don't mind but I did a little playing around with the Max picture you made. It's very cheesy, but dh and I thought it would be cute to do a play on words with Max's name. I just added a border and changed the words. This is what I ended up printing on my sons shirt.

WHAT is the trick to using the iron on for dark material by avery?? I wrongly assumed it was like for white material (didn't have instructions), flipped the picture and printed as I normally do. Went to iron it on and alas something was OH so wrong....
The "ink" was up against the teeshirt :confused3 and the side facing away from the teeshirt was white. I could SEE the picture but it did not look right AT all. I royally made a mess.

Luckily I could pull the transfer completely off. Now what do I do so it works right next time? Other wise I am out of 2 packs of transfers for dark material minus ONE peice. *cry*.

I am hoping someone can give me baby steps.

it took me a while to comprehend the dark versus light concept too!!

with the dark paper - print it normal - I think there is a backing that you peel off - then you put the design right side up on the shirt - there should have been a cover parchment paper inside which you place on top of the transfer - you then iron over the paper to "melt" (for lack of a better word) the transfer onto the shirt

I hope that makes sense

I like the Mickey Mouse spelled out too. Cute idea!

The white didn't really work - the parts with the white out ddin't iron on very well - so it would be a crap shoot to see if it works shirt by shirt -

although since I was experimenting - I colored with a sharpie as well - and that worked - now the question is do they make whtie sharpies? or woudl a white paint pin work?

Oh FOOFY DOOOO!!! Yes there was some paper with it. Dog gone it. I tried to iron it on :rotfl: and while it worked... persay.... :rotfl2:    it didn't really.
