I can't help with the font, but since no one else has answered about the transfer paper... yes! you can get it at Walmart!! I know this is pretty late and you have probably already gone to Walmart... and come home... and fixed dinner... and eaten... and put the kids to bed... and everything...

But I just got home from work and saw that you had asked twice :goodvibes
Thanks! I actually put off my trip to Walmart because the weather is so crappy. There's a tropical wave over us right now. :umbrella:

My DH is being an ***.
Right now.
Male Menopause I think. :rotfl2:
No problem I always have you guys.
Also I leave in 18 days for WDW. :hourglass
I also get to see my DD in 25 days. :hourglass
Hey I just noticed my 500 post.
:cheer2:

Brendita - are you sending those as postcards - I am contemplating making postcards before we leave to send home - is that tacky - anyone?

Anyone need anything from WDW - let me know!!

OH -if this works I will be ecstatic - I will have to try this tomorrow -I don't have any white out!! Found this tip on the web:

I have found a very easy way to create white on a colored shirt.

Reciently my boy joind the cub scouts, I purchased a t-shirt for him but wanted one for dad(me).

The design on the shirt contained mostly black with some white on an orange T-shirt.

I tryd an experiment that worked much better than I thought it would. Here is how you do it.

Make the iron-on transfer as you normaly would. Purchase a small bottle of White-out (liquid paper) carfuly apply the white-out to the transfer paper, going on the lines will not hurt because the ink will cover the white out area. Allow the white-out to dry.

Now iron on the transfer as you normaly would, the white-out will sink in to the garment and remain there even during washings. It is that easy.

She wanted a t-shirt that looked like a post card.
So this is what I came up with.

I don't think it's tacky.
I always think it's nice to remember others @ home.

If this works, you could then use transfers for white shirts therefore NOT having to trim the excess off around the design? Is that the significance? (can you tell I've never actually done a shirt?) The color of the shirt would show through all the "white" areas of the light color transfer except where the white out is? It would make it much easier on all those transparent background designs!

BTW, liquid paper also works great on nail holes or scuffs on white wood work, doors, trim. I use it to cover up lots of little spots!

I have to tell you how much fun we are having with that costume!!

For Julia's 2nd birthday she got a Belle tea set - and the tea pot is of course Mrs. Potts and she talks - so I put her inside the costume and she randomly talks - "Would you like a spot of tea?" "Will Beast be joining us for supper?" - she sings and when you tip it over it sounds like she is pouring tea - so anytime I lean over it sounds like the costume is pouring tea - it really makes the costume perfect!!!!!!

You could take your "Queen Mommy" design and change it to "Queen of the DDA" Nobody but you would know what it meant, but we would.

How about that adorable picture of Julia and Nick at WDW in your sig? It might not make much sense to most, but I would bet most DISers would know exactly who you are.

I do love the Evolution of Mickey - I think I will make that for myself no matter what I make for anyone else.

I did two more tie-dyes today. Well, DD6 tie-dyed her own. :cool1: Can't wait to see what this one looks like. I'll try to post a picture of it tomorrow night.

I need to get on it and start working on the 4 other tie-dyes, plus I just told a friend of mine that I met on the Disney Cruise 2 years ago that I would make T-shirts for her, her DH and DD2. They are going on the Nov. 12 Magic this year. I thought tie-dye would be fun for them too, but after the staining I ended up with on my hands and clothes today, I don't think so.

Just call me stupid!

Kate,

Just how often are you wearing that costume? Do you clean house in it, or is it saved for "special" occasions? Inquiring minds want to know.

BRENDITA: Glad to see you back. Hope things get better at home. As those of us who are women, and mothers (and obsessed with poop and all things gross) know, men can be a royal PIA sometimes. Maybe the trip away will be exactly what he needs to appreciate you more.

I also loved your "postcard" t-shirts. What a cute idea!

I wish I had the creative talents you all do. :earboy2:
