We don't have a December check-in thread yet (any meet-up/check-in threads, if they exist, will always be listed in the Meet sticky at the top of the page so you can check there). So far we are not beyond March in terms of check-in threads! Do you want this to be the December check-in thread? Do you want to manage it? If so, I can add it to the Meet sticky. Let me know!

I do not think I ahve the time to manage the thread. I guess I will have to wait. I am so excited about the trip it is all I can think of and want to plan and talk about.

Hey, I can make a check in thread for it if there's a demand I'm addicted to those. My AP expires in December and I will either get one last trip in or be renewing anyway! I never got to see the snow darnit. I have to see the snow.

I had so much fun in Oct. Dh has never been during Christmas, that is the reason for the trip.

We're surprising the kids with a trip 12/4-12/11 (we'll be in the parks the 5-10). They have NO idea, we're going to tell them right before we walk out the door and head to the airport. They think we're waiting until 2013 to go back!

Yep!! We will be there December 19-23rd. Surprising our 9 year old daughter too. She has no idea and we will tell her the morning of as well before we go to the airport.

We had a bad experience at Disneyland Hotel when we went in October. They are unbelievably giving us a complimentary trip back. 4 day park hopper tickets and 4 nights at the Grand Californian. I cannot believe it! DISNEY ROCKS!!!

When do you all think the Candlelight Processional will be this year? The weekend of the 3rd/4th or the weekend of the 10th/11th?

We would love to be there for it and want to book our plane tickets within the next few weeks. Should we just plan on flying in on the 3rd and out on the 11th so we can be in the park Sun the 4th and Sat the 10th just to be safe?

I will be there the same time as you. We will be heading up on Dec 4th and will be in the parks the 5th-8th. We will then leave on the 9th. We will have character Breakfast Monday at Minnie and Friends and then Goofys on Fridat right before we leave.

I have no idea which weekend it is. I planned to be there during the week so we can miss crowds. We were there for Halloween and it was crazy.

Yes! Hopefully we will be going from Dec 1-8 this year. *fingers crossed* We want to suprize the kids this time. They think that 2012 will be the earliest that we get back to the Land. We just got back from spending 7 glorious days at DL in Dec & can not wait to return!! We are booked at the HoJo!

edited to add: The CP was on the 4th & 5th this past year (we were there-was cancelled on the 5th due to weather) & I believe that it has always been on the first weekend in Dec in past years as well. Someone please correct me if I am wrong here! No one really knows until, they officially announce the dates though.

I wish I had that problem. I know we are talking about getting APs so we could go more often. Not sure when we will get them. Right now we are just doing one trip a year.

That's a very sane thing to do. If it weren't for the BF I would probably still be sticking to the 1 trip a year thing. As with a hotel and ticket prices that would be about all I could afford. Now if I'm going down that way anyway, I might as well plan a few Disney days!! It's a good thing he enjoys it too.
