Disney Dating site?

No problems with that. Good luck with your business! That takes a lot of dedication. I admire people that can do that.

So...what's this thread all about? I have a short attention span and don't feel like reading 11 pages of posts. :teeth:

I've been single for far too long. What's dismates?

It's www.dismates.com . It's a site I started for single people who are looking for other single people and who also love Disney. It's free and everyone's welcome.

MidNite,
Thanks for starting the site. Now we need to recruit more mature males. ;)
No offense to all the 20 somethin's. :teeth:

Btw, just wanted to let you know that I am not single. So you guys can stop begging me to go out with you. (Hey, I can dream, can't I?) :teeth:

Flrose,
I don't think that it is more mature men that you are looking for. I think that you mean older. :)

I know a lot of older guys that are not mature and I know a lot of 20 somethings that are. Is age a big barrier for you ladies? I thought that these days older women were looking for younger men the same way that older men are looking for younger women. What do you think? Age isn't everything. Some young people are a lot more worldly and cultured than older people. Come on, give us a chance. :)

Hey! I'm not bald! Not completely that is. God only made so many perfect heads. The others He put hair on. I'm on my way to perfection!

Plus you've got that facial hair. ;)

tarzanman,
I meant no offense by the term "mature men". There are mature men that are 20somethings and there are immature men that are 40something (trust me I know that one from experience, LOL). And no, I have no problem dating younger men but, I draw the line at those that are young enough to be my son. Another thing, men your age probably want to settle down and have a family one day, right? Been there, done that and didn't even get a t-shirt :teeth: . I agree age isn't everything. Most of my friends right now are in the late 20's middle 30's. You sound like a great guy and we could probably meet up at WDW have a blast and be the
best of friends. Matter of fact my next trip is to MNSSHP in Oct. Wanna join us? The nice thing about living in Fl. and having a sister that lives 30 min from there, I can pretty much go when I have the need to get away. I have been several times by myself and love it! But, it would be nice to meet someone to share the fun with.

And yes Charade, I see you out there waving your hand. Like I said, I'll be at Disney in Oct. and again right after T'giving. Anyone else out there want to join us? Maybe we can get a mini meet going.

October should be good. I was thinking about booking every weekend in October and just going. I am going on the 7 night Halloween cruise at the end of the month but all of my weekend before that are open. Sounds like a good time. Which weekend is best for everyone?

Well, doesn't that just figure?! I have tickets already for MNSSHP for 10/28. That's the weekend of your cruise right tarzanman?
However, I am thinking of sometime in Aug. right after my black out dates.
Also, the weekend/week after T'giving.
Anyone else?

I will be at the parks that day on the 28th. Not going to the MNSSHP this year. Been 3 years running so I am taking a break.

I was wondering if anyone of a dating site that was specific for Disneyites.

I am recently single again for the first time in a long time. During my previous relationship, I developed a love for most things Disney. I am a DVC member, been on 7 cruises with the next one this October, and I am going to Disneyland for the anniversary celebration. The people that I work with tell me that in order for me to find someone to date or have a relationship with, I need to tone down the Disney. By the way, I forgot to say that I have a Disney themed living room and a new full size van that has Disney stuff on it and in it. I disagree with them. I am a really fun guy. Been called the nicest guy that people have ever met by a few people. I just don't think that I need to change myself. I have been hoping to find someone just as interested in Disney as I am. I have been to the clubs, of course living in South Florida, and for the most part, I am not a club guy. I like dancing and all but they all seem like people just trying to get some. That is not me.

So, I am looking for someone that has Disney on their mind and thought that maybe there was some site that catered to this. Thanks for your help ahead of time.

Tarzanman

1. I own DVC
2. I have lots of Disney collectibles
3. I like cruises. (Been on 8 of 'em, only once on DCL)
4. I don't like to "put myself out there".

I can relate. :)
