soo slow, makes you log in a millions times,...come on Disney Imagineers!!

I am trying to book excursians and other stuff for our upcoming cruise and want to see a list of charges and can not find it, does anyone know? Also we have our other party reservation linked to ours, how do we know everything is getting charged correctly if we cant see the charges?

I can't help you but I have to say I totally agree. I'm sure I've registered my kids for the kids club but I can find no confirmation of that! You would think that Disney would be able to have the most user friendly website out there! So frustrating!

I had the same problem yesterday. I was actually on the phone with DCL Rep and the lady told me they are having technical problems. :surfweb:

a few months ago I was trying to book rooms at POP and it took me an hour, the system kept pulling up random dates, and then trying to do ADRs was a worse nightmare online.. they always have technical difficulties.

the lady on the phone was nice that I just talked to she apologized for disney's poor website and helped me out alot with questions I had.

She said you will not be charged and WILL not see any charges until you actually check in at the terminal...but why doesnt disney atleast show you an online history of charges prior to heading to the port is beyond me.

Your title line says it all. Yes, it does.

And they are ALWAYS having technical difficulties. Always do a screen capture of any successful reservations just in case!

Sucks, stinks, annoying, frustrating, ridiculous. Welcome to a normal day on a Disney website. I have never had as many issues as I have had on Disney websites. Booking hotels at the parks, entering contests, checking cruise reservations etc..It amazes me how weak the IT side of this company is.

I agree! I made a deposit on a cruise and the web site popped up a message that said the payment failed, so I did the whole process again. Then I noticed it charged me both times! I had to call DCL to get the extra charge refunded. Then they told me it would take 10 days for it to come off my credit card. :headache:

I don't like the website either. I log in with my reservation number, birthdate, username, and password, and after I begin checking on my excursions or other reservations, it makes me enter all that information to log in again! Very frustrating. I even did a survey and complained awhile back.

YOu can't see any charges since nothing is charged to your KTTW account until you are actually on the ship. Each person's excursion will show up under their name as a charge once on the ship - if you are booking for everyone you will not be charged for everyone.

Remember you can always stop by Guest Services anytime once on the cruise to see a print out of your KTTW charges.

I completely agree with all of the PP's. I can't stand how you have to put the birthday and reservation # in addition to name/password- when I'm at work and want to check my reservation quickly for something, I dont have access to all of my reservation numbers since I always have at least 2 cruises booked and don't keep the records on hand at all times. It should make you login once and see ALL of your future cruises, better yet all of your future Disney vacations period, in one spot. As a PP said, for such an innovative company its crazy how bad the IT side is!

Another thing is apparently they are listing Pirate Night on the wrong day for a number of the 5 night Double Dip cruises, mine included. This was confirmed by my TA speaking with a supervisor. Luckily I was able to switch my Remy reservation and didn't end up losing what I wanted because of their technical error!

If you create a castaway club logon with your castaway club number, you can see all your previous and future cruises on one page. The castaway club logon is at the top of the cruise website. You just need your number to create a logon.

I find DCL's website to be VERy user friendly. Many issues with having to input lots of information is for security purposes. And I would just like to add that until y'all have had the opportunity to design and maintain a website that has thousands of hits a day, you can't complain. Check out other cruise lines sites, I can't find much of the basic information I need on theirs, with DCL's everything is very easy to find.

I just edited my on line check in yesterday--I arranged our flights a couple weeks ago and realized I hadn't added them....I had to put the info in separately for each person in our party (same cabin, same flights). For whatever reason, it wouldn't allow me to say that the info applied to all of us.:confused3 I know, a minor frustration, but a pain. And it STILL wouldn't allow me to say we have transfers?????? I don't get it. But I know that there is nothing that can't be edited/fixed at the terminal or welcome center.

While I will certainly agree that most of us are probably not IT professionals, I disagree that DCL's site is superior to other cruise lines. Carnival's website is better for navigational purposes and it's easier to see your cruise specific information once booked.

I agree. I get logged out all of the time randomly... but most of the time it is when I am logged into my currently planned cruise and change screens to something else within the reservation planning screen. I'm just glad there are things that can be done different ways to still get the job done.

Instead of moving from page to page sometimes I find it easier to "Open in new tab". I had trouble doing the online check in for my last years October cruises and that's what I had to do to move from page to page - if I just clicked on the link it logged me out.

I agree, it's terrible. All the Disney websites are. I was in the middle of changing my room and it kicked me out, then wouldn't let me log in because half an hour because it said that someone else was logged in. Um, no, that was ME. This happened multiple times, but when I called DCL to try to do it by phone, the CM I spoke to couldn't get into it for half an hour for the same reason.

I don't mind having to submit lots of information to log in, but I do mind having to do it again every three minutes.

I agree. I've never even managed to log on to my castaway member account.

I was having the same problems yesterday. I couldn't even find where to register the kids for the clubs at all and I know I booked my husband a massage but I can't find confirmation anywhere. It's not listed with our other activities and when I tried to reserve it again for the same time it tells me that it's already reserved.:headache: I also kept getting into an infinite loop of logging in over and over. :scared::scared::scared::scared::scared:
