Looking for advice. Should we take our 7 and 10 year olds on a 7 day Disney cruise or do 4-5 days in Disney/Universal and then spend 4 days at the beach? (We have a free place to stay at the beach). The kids have been to Disney Land for a day last year. Never Disney World or Universal. DId the Voyager with them last summer.
Thanks!

IMHO, if you have never done Disney World, you really ought to, especially since you have cruised once. My DD who was 9 last year loved Universal--we stayed on site at HRH and had a great time. The 7 year old would probably prefer WDW though, unless (he/she) is a dare devil..

I agree. Ideally, doing the Univ., WDW & Disney cruise (in that order) would be great - but expensive. If the kids have never experienced WDW or Univ. it will be fantastic for them. My kids agreed!:Pinkbounc

If you're wanting to do Universal & Disney I'd suggest you make that more like 5 or 6 days there and 2 days at the beach. That's 6 different parks!!

Have you asked the kids which they'd prefer? If it doesn't matter to you I'd ask them and let them pick. Unless they pick different things LOL!

Hi dewla.

These are 2 very different vacations. I agree with the others that WDW and Universal might be a better first-time choice. Then relax at the beach...
