our ceremony was only about 6 minutes..so we actually had him for plenty of time..he showed up on deck about 5:10..took shots of DH and my guests. After the ceremony, he walked around the top Deck with us and the into Palo for cake shots and toast shots.
I think 1 hour was perfect..but if you wanted shots around the lower atrium, I would add an extra hour.

Do you know if it is possible to get the reception space for longer? I know maybe its not possible for palo but maybe i can get the cadillac lounge space for an hour or to more? My husbands family is puerto rican and a wedding is not a wedding or vow renewal in this case without lots of dancing....I hope we can wwork something out

For those of you who had the deck 7 ceremony, at what time was your ceremony? We have early seating and wonder if we will make it to dinner or not? We won't be doing Palo since we have kids and don't want to dine without them.

they have 2 times..4:30 and 5:30..We were done and in Palo by 6:00 and that was with the pictures..They will give you an approximate time for the ceremony but it can change when you get on the ship due to weather or other conditions.
I don't remember the seating time for early..but if you explain it to your head server a night or two before, I am sure he can make arrangements for you to come in late.

Head Servers are AMAZING!!

Make sure the wedding coordinator, Shanda is my sons, knows that you have early seating. We let her know and she arranged for us to have the ceremony at 4:30. Early seating dinner is 5:45 so we should have plenty of time.:)

Our guest list is getting larger everyday, almost to 25. For those of you who have had larger parties traveling with you, how were the tables set-up at dinner? I would like to know if I have to plan on making some type of assigned seating, or will we be at one large table.

TIA!!!

we had about 30 and they would not have a table greater than 8..they put us all in the same area..but couldn't make a giant table..this made the both Cat 1 try and persuade the head server..but it was beyond him..said the servers and kitchen just couldn't handle it

they did make sure everything came together and we table hopped alot

We had an entire section, we were set up as a group. We had 6 tables and I got a chart to fill out and assign each table. Talk to your travel agent.

I wouldn't worry about dancing after because you can always go to the "clubs" after dinner and there is always something going on. We went out after Palo and had fun....and that way you don't need to pay for anything more.

We had shots around the lower levels and on the top deck and still the hour was great. You can work as much as you want into there if your photographer is good.

Speak to your coordinator when you get onboard we had our reception in Sessions and it went for just over an hour.

Our ceremony was at 4.15 and went for less than 10mins. We didn’t have an early seating for dinner but we had organised for everyone to go to the 6pm theatre show and everything fitted in well.

Did anyone have family members that are waiting to the last minute to book? how did it work out?

my wedding is less then a year away & the situation i am in now is that my grooms immediate side of the family has not booked yet... i went on the website to check availability and the availability is going down and the prices are jumping up which i warned them about. as of right now there are no more inside staterooms or oceanview rooms . I have sent them all the information that they needed to know 3 months in advance (which is when we found out what we wanted to do for our wedding) and they all said they wanted to come i have kept tabs with them i have even booked for them but they never followed through with their deposit so they lost their original rooms. I am starting to get really nervous that my groom is not going to have any of his closest families there for him & i know how much that will mean to him that all my family is there and his isnt. & it makes me mad because before we made this decision EVERYONE said that they would be able to do it.. :confused3 has anyone came across a similar situation as this?

Two of my sisters, my bridesmaids at that,( I have 4 bridesmaids) have not booked yet. We r in the same boat no more inside or ocean view available. I told them over a year before the cruise and they are natural procrastinators so they still have not booked and we r 6 months out. :scared1: I told them at this point I don't feel sorry for them it is so expensive as they have been nothing but pains in my behind about dresses shoes not booking and everything else you can imagine. But in your case, I would just keep trying. I hope it all works out for you!:flower3:

Ps. When is your wedding?
