Oh such a tease! Need more info!

Glad you had a great time even though there were a few bumps along the way.

I think I might bring my silk bouquet as a back up though...

Tanya....prayers are with you for your grandma and family. You do look stunning in your gown!!

cheryl

Tanya your dress is amazing! You are soooo close now!

Yup, we're driving out today!! :cool1: I'm getting my last Disboard fix before we leave. Can't wait.

Tanya, you look beautiful!! Also, prayers to you and your grandmother.

Talk to y'all when I get back! Thanks for everyone's help in getting through all this craziness.

-Virginia

Just wanted to say thanks for all the compliments and the well wishes. My grandmother passed away Friday night. I was with her at the time and glad that I could be of some comfort. I will greatly miss her. It has not only been a rough week, but a rough day since today (Sat) was my birthday.
In one since it is a blessing, but I still wish she were here. At least I will be even happier to get away on the cruise and relax in the next few weeks.

And April, aren't you the one who is also allergic to strawberrries? I clearly told Brie about that, but guess what still got delivered? I was kind of offended that my severe allergic reaction and request not to have them placed in the room was never delivered to the ship.

Yes, Brie and I have spoken about my strawberry allergy.....it took her a while to get back to me but with my confirmations she said the ship would provide chocolate covered bananas or pineapple or cherries. NO STRAWBERRIES!! I will be seriously PO'd if strawberries are delivered! I think i will submit my own allergy sheet, i did one for DS's lactose intollerance!

I think I might bring my silk bouquet as a back up though...

I'm taking my silk bouquet from the Epcot shoot....just in case my rose bouquet is not what i requested. I want the stems FULLY WRAPPED!! I do not want to see any green stem and i certainly don't want icky flower water dripping all over the place! i wrote that on my confirmation too!

Oh Tanya, i'm so sorry! You are in my thoughts......

Tanya, sorry about your grandmother. Our prayers are with you.

On a happy note, met someone who is going on your cruise and I told her to be on the lookout for you!!!

I'm back!! I'll post a full report next Sat when I get home and can upload pics (which were gorgeous!!!!). Castaway was amazing. Just what I a
wanted. My onboard coordinator, Vanesa, was the BEST.

Floral was a nightmare. Exactly what I specified I didn't want! And wilted and drropy. Vanesa has already contacted shoreside and let them know they will be hearing from me! But I'm not going to deal with that until I get home. Floral was really my only "wish" as I wanted simple. But I don't think I got too bridezilla. But suffice it to say-I am getting my money back for that.

And April, aren't you the one who is also allergic to strawberrries? I clearly told Brie about that, but guess what still got delivered? I was kind of offended that my severe allergic reaction and request not to have them placed in the room was never delivered to the ship.

But none of these things should really surprise any of us. All the problems were on the non-communication of the DFTW side. The ship staff were great, as Cheryl has said, and tried their best to make everthing lovely.

All in all we had a great cruise!!!!!! And did i mention fabulous pictures?!
Christine

So so glad you had a wonderful cruise! It's a bit of torture to wait until Sat! I'm also really glad you have some great pics! Cannot wait to see them!

Have a fantastic rest of your honeymoon! :goodvibes

We are back from the Wedding Cruise and trip to WDW.....WOW is all I can say. The new Mr & Mrs looked AMAZING!!! Beautiful day for the Wedding. Windy but it will make for AMAZING pictures because she chose to wear the LONG VEIL (my choice all along). I will hopefully be posting pictures soon, so many people taking them and I ended up with other peoples cameras!! I am waiting for some of them to put them on Facebook and dying to see what the photographer has!!!! She was GREAT so full of energy.

Will Post more tomorrow and see what pics I have in my camera as well.

DD has set up a I think it is snapfish account for all of us to share haven't had a chance to even look at that yet....tired from the flight.

Beautiful pictures! WOW it was windy.....i hope it isn't like that for us as I want to leave my hair down!!

YES!!!! It was windy...we were going to do pictures with Meg and Rene outside you know the mom and dad ones. My hair is cut in a Bob and it was ALL over the place!! So we decided to have the photographer do the family shots inside after the ceremony.

Some of the ones posted so far are mine I still hae lots to put in there and can't wait to see what everyone else has to add to it. I am glad Megan decided to make the Snapfish account. It was so fast and I ws trying to help her so much I don't have MANY MANY of the pictures I took with other peoples cameras!!! Watching the photographer they brought with them I was AMAZED with some of the things she did THOSE are the pictures I am really dying to see...the wind actually made for some really nice shots!!

I have to see if I can post one from a camera I used that is on facebook where her veil is blowing.

Keep checking MORE TO COME!!!!!

The pictures look great. It was not one bit windy when DH and I got married in August. Not sure if its because Deck 7 was facing the open water and not the Atlantis Hotel. We did go to the other end of the ship for pictures and found it more windy on that end...

looks beautiful....and she didn't look any worse from the wind. Must have had lots of hairspray!!!!;)

Your DD needs to add the ceremony pictures! I am dying to see them. It looks like they had a beautiful sky for a backdrop. Trust me, the breeze is better than the stagnant air with no breeze. I was glad we had some in July..typically not a breezy time in port.

DD didn't use Disney Photography, so we are waiting for the Photographer she hired to go on the Cruise to get the pictures ready. I am dying to see what all she took!!

She was amazing in the stateroom while DD was getting ready she was standing on the couch, the bed, she was all over the place!!! I did try and snap a few while she was working but mostly tried to stay out of the way. We were there for alot of the pics but not all of them so I am not sure where all they went to do pics, so they will be a suprise to me as well. Will post a link when we get it so you all can see as well.

I had my friend taking pictures while I was getting ready, but I wish I had asked my other friend come and take some pictures like Randy and Roots do...some art-sy ones.

We are going on the Dream in 2011 and my bridesmaids have both Royal suites again..maybe I should bring my curlers and dress and do a "re-shoot" in their room.

Hahaha..I am kidding, but now that I think about it..Hmmmm....

hmmm....

(my husband would KILL ME!! haha)

Ahh Brittney Spears Fantasy... Have you tried her midnight fantasy? I like both so I always switch them up on different days.

I have a few questions that I been meaning to ask you but I remember you mentioning that you had a list of pics you wanted the photog to take. Did you just bring a copy's of other peoples poses you liked or did you just have a list written out? Do you still have that list so maybe I can get a few ideas:idea: I have no fear of trashing the dress, so lying in the sand and standing in the water are a must do for me.

Do you think that you had enough time with the photog? They now have the option of paying for more time. I know you said that you and your guests wanted to get to CC asap and we are kinda hoping for the same but I might be willing to sacrifice an 1 hour for some more picture time. I just want to say thanks for paving the way for all of us new brides and staying with us during all of our planning:love:

Belle, how was Imran? Any suggestions for us future brides?

Disneygirls, I've collected shots that I really like over the last few months, and put them in a Photoshop document. I went through recently and edited. I now have a contact sheet that I plan on giving to the photog when we get onboard.

:goodvibes
