Just gorgeous! Thank you so much for sharing. I just love looking at the DCL DFTWs b/c they're not often shared and I'm a DCL bride myself! I love your bouquet and the green color scheme was gorgeous!

Thanks...the colors were something I really was freaked about..poor Cathy had many emails like "i want to make sure they aren't "too green" or "too white"

this was PM'd question about the Palo flowers..I am going to respond on the thread so that it will help other DCL brides too..

They cannot do an arrangement unless you order it..I ordered 2 glass cubes and a dozen roses..6 jade and 6 white as well as the green hydrangeas.

I had them delivered to the ship by Shirley at Perfect gift as just a bunch..I took scissors and cut them myself..I needed Rufaro (the WC) to get me some rubber bands to make them stay together!! To hide the stems, I just took the leaves and laid them against the glass before filling with water.

I then had to RUN them down to Palo and place them on the table at about 4pm!!

ETA - Oh..I had some extra ribbon I had brought to the ship..I cut pieces of that and stuck it in there too

There looks like there was tons of room on the deck. Cathy had discouraged us from going on there because we had 20 people. The flowers were georgeous!! Were you able to keep them/

yes..they are in a vase at home..they still are so pretty!!!

i was also able to keep the Palo flowers and Kate brought home her bouquet..they said that only PLANTS in SOIL can't be kept...the customs officer just said congrats and let us pass not even a second look (but my mother said they did sniff my DDs bouquet)

Did you do the ship photography package at all? or just your friends taking pics?

it came with 20 5x7's and 5 8x10's plus the photographer for an hour..he took about 200 shots

Since it's all over Shutters info, I guess it is fair game to email Cathy and ask her to add that on!!! Much more affordable, especially since I'll want to get some regular photos too.

Maybe I could get the VR package and then add the CD....If they won't let me just get the CD? It would still be cheaper then the $900 package with 100's of prints I don't really want.

the VR package is ONLY for VR's..not weddings..It can't hurt to ask Shutters for the disk only..the manager was very nice about swapping pictures sizes and buying our Lifestyle portraits

Shutters is run by a concession..it seems like it is up to the manager on duty as to what they will and will not do..I do know someone last year that only bought the CD..not one picture..

i did pick a package..but that just secures a photographer for your event..I could have changed my package if I had wanted to get more (according to the Shutters Manager)

i told Cathy before..but I would tell Shutters or your onboard NOT to print any..that you just want the disk when you get on..that way they don't print them and then make you buy them

I am having my VR in just about 3 weeks..I did not see that option on the paperwork..the least expensive package on mine is $399.00.

Was this an option on your paperwork or something you arranged with Cathy?

I think this is something new and it's not in the DFTW paperwork yet, but as Betsy stated it is in the Shutters info. I was goign to do the $399 package also, but only because I wanted some photos. This sounds so much better, money for other excursions!!!
