AHHHHHH so DisneyDmbNut knows who I was talking about with the "out there requests" I truley do believe that that kind of thing has ALOT to do with ALL of this.
If you want to make like announcements or programs....it says something about it has to be APPROVED before you can use them. It says you cannot use DISNEY COPIEWRITTEN things.
It said someothing about favors, and them having to be approved by them also. DD was thinking (this is how she explained it) like if you wanted to give something with a Disney Character or something it COULD NOT be a cheep knock off from China...they will not deliver things I believe she said.
Yes! Like the Escape Collection package at Walt Disney World, it includes all tax and service charge. You would just pay those on any items you add, like extra beverages or floral.
These rates are different on the cruise line than at WDW: Tax is 7% and service charge is 15%.

I don't think that includes the taxes. My total amount for the cruise includes our cruise fair for each person, the VR fee, then the taxes and the government fees etc. I'll have to look it up and then post it for you.
Also - in regards to everything else - I too was told that they would not set out anything or give out anything for me either. Well, now it is just my family and no guests, so it really isn't an issue. BUT I wanted to bring some silk flowers and a few items for the cake table - like my glass slipper, etc. Nothing crazy and over the top. And I was told by Brie that DCL would NOT have anything to do with it. Cathy had told me that it would be ok if it was only a few things, then when Brie 1st came on, she said the same thing.
Now the answer to that is no. So I am bringing it with me and I am going to have my husband set it out b/c it should take like 1-2 minutes to do so. Maybe the onboard coordinator will be nice, and I'll get lucky.
But I am to the point that I would just rather not stress about it. It's paid for and I'm going to get what I get. The things I can't do - like the sand ceremony -(I've gone back and forth about it) I am just going to do at the beginning of my at home reception.
Jen....you have to eat at Palo....it is oooohhhh soooo yummy at every level.
Poohbear....we had too many for the private room, and it was already booked, so they created a huge round table for us in the middle of it all. In my opinion it was just fabulous....more people looking at ME!!!We could see the kitchen area, and they just paid so much attention to us. I think there are some pictures of where we were in my TR, so take a peak.
So don't fret about not having the "private" room. And just make certain that when you board, you get your coordinator on it. They are the ones that will help you the most, and bend over backwards to make the things you want happen.

I know I could search and find this but I appreciate someone just telling me.
What is the price for a wedding on the ship and on Castaway Cay? Is there also a post with the upgrade prices? Thanks so much for your time.
We are trying for Oct. 2010. so we are trying to figure a few things out as far as guest list and all that. We want to have a group at Palo but aren't sure if we will have too many people or not. We are just trying to figure out the what if's for now. So my question is... If we have more than 14 ppl, how would I go about doing what you did and getting a huge round table in the middle of the dining room. Would I have to wait until I got on the ship to speak with the wedding coordinator or should I have everyone in my party book a ressie at Palo for the same time and ask to be seated together? Should I book exactly 90 days out? oh so many questions![]()

If you have a wedding booked, you can book your Palo at 105 days..maybe you should call DCL or your TA and ask how to book a group. Cathy at DFTW did mine with all the confirmation numbers on my packet..but I guess that has changed.
