Maybe that is a new rule because my bridesmaid has tried several times to get her teenager's hair done for formal night both in the salon and through concierge and was told they could not allow anyone in the salon under 18. Seemed dumb to have a rule like that on a "kids" cruise.

Maybe they have a new salon vendor?

We got back last night...it was absolutly perfect, in every way...I'll post pics as soon as I get a chance...

Jen, you posted earlier about your daughter not being able to get her hair done at the salon...the salon does take children, as long as they are just in the salon...they actually have mother/daughter mani/pedi packages...they did a great job on my dd's hair...

Our photographer was Stephanie, she was excellent...we are really pleased with all our portraits...the hardest part was choosing which ones to add to our package...

If anyone has any questions, please let me know!!!

I didn't think DD was able to go until I went to discuss my style with the hairdresser, then they told me that I could book an appointment for her, which I though was great...but they did tell me that they offer mother/daughter packages...(and that the daughters have to stay only in the salon)

It could not have been a better day!!!

I can't remember, were you on the Wonder or the Magic? I'm so glad to hear that you had a wonderful photographer. Yea for great pictures!! And I am excited to hear your DD could get her hair done. I asked Brie about that specifically, and was told no exceptions, no children. Should I just try again on my own with my wedding coordinator once I am onboard?

We had Stephanie also and had the same problem, lol. We had soooo many wonderful photos, it was hard to decide.

has anyone not bought a photography package? are you allowed to do that with a cruise wedding? I'm not really interested in any prints, i might be interested in a CD but i tend to be very critical of photography as i'm a photographer myself. My sister is also a photographer and I would probably have her take photos. thanks!

We loved our photos from the Disney photographer, but we requested Grace, we knew from previous cruises that she does a wonderful job, plus friends of ours used her for engagement photos on baord the wonder, she was on the magic during april, it was a good switch for us! We also had Tim's dad, and my friend taking pics, so we got alot of repeat shots from all of them but it worked out to our advantage, we didnt have to buy a big package from DCL, but still had a photographer and she set up alot of shots and poses.

There are many more great ones, plus we took alot of the set up portraits that DCL had for the night...It was great!

Your pictures are too cute... what a beautiful couple you are. I LOVE the one with your girls in the porthole goofing around and you two next to them. I can see my 2 doing that! And I also like the one of the two of you with the ocean behind you.

We went to Shutters and asked for her to be the photographer, they told us they were not sure if she would be able to do it, but we would have someone good, and it ended up being her. So yes I would recommend requesting her ahead of time. She did an excellent job.

Thanks so much for posting your pictures....We are so excited about DD's Wedding in November. Seeing your pictures makes me even more excited. Can't wait to see her IN the dress (even though I went shopping with her)...it will be "for Real" in a couple months.

They hired a photographer to come along on the cruise so I am eager to see what she comes up with as far as pictures. She has asked DD if they want to get off the ship in Nassau for photos, right now DD says No but who knows if they will change their minds before then?? It would be nice but she is worried about getting her dress dirty....

Please post more when you get time I LOVE looking at other peoples Pictures!!!!
