I did!!! And I know Tanya did one too. I didn't care/think about dimensions, just bought a standard Aisle runner from Oriental Trading Company.....30' maybe? I honestly don't remember, espicially since mine didn't end up being used outside.

Hello everyone! I just had a quick question about music. I know you are able to bring in a CD with your own songs on it for the wedding. Can I bring a CD with songs on it for CC as well? I wanted to use my own songs for the whole wedding instead of using songs they listed. Is this possible?

Hello Kristy.

You sure can. Just put it in order of
prelude/seating
processional
recessional
first dance
cake cutting
there is a few lines that are blank so if you want to add anything you can. There will be a spot for this on your planning guide. The wedding coordinator on the ship will be operating the cd player for you.

Thanks Cheryl.....LOL...Yeah that was the Oasis of the Seas....it had pulled in earlier in the day and it was HUGE!! OMG I remember back in 1996 when Carnival launched the Destiny and that one was supposed to be big but man this Oasis was ENORMOUS!!!

And i was very happy with my cake! It was a million times better than that plain white one i was expecting!!

We also ordered the Flower Girl's dress and ring bearers outfits. They all matched!

Lisa, my DH had the exact same shirt! My halter top dress matched it. And I got my kids' matching outfits from there as well. Very reasonably priced, and I got speedy shipping as well. I just would have invested in a much better tailor for me, if I had to do it over again. She came well recommended, but botched my dress and dd's.

Hi there... I'm hoping to renew our vows (10 year) on CC during the Sept 25th 2011 sailing on the Dream,and started reading this thread today. I'm only up to page 29,but so glad to have found this thread.
Quick question: We will be booking a 1 bedroom suite this week...but being that sailing date is so far out,I will not be able to add VR package to it. What happens if we can't do the VR because the slots are taken?

I would call them and let them know that you are interested in doing it....I mean call Disney Dream weddings. When they give you the date that they will book on, just be the first caller.
When we booked ours, I had called before the set date, and Cathy put me on a list...I was the 1st one....but told me to call on a certain date. I don't know if the new person is allowed to do that or not, but it certainly doesn't hurt to call now and then again.

Did Disney weddings provide you with the script for the vows? How did the Bahamian Officiant do with your vows (their accent)?

we chose to re-vow traditional vows, so the capt. read from a book. I do know that others have written their own.

We wrote our own ceremony, but had a big hassle getting DFTW/DCL to agree to have the captain read it. I think it was more a DFTW issue that DCL as the captain had no issues at all with reading our ceremony the way we had it written.

Thank you Cheryl,I will call DFTW and ask. I'm only up to page 124 of this thread,but wanted to ask you guys this question before I forget: If the weather is not cooperating,& CC is a no go during the cruise.Will I be refunded partial payment if ceremony is moved onboard? Being that we're shooting for September sailing (hurricane season)I know this is a huge possibility.

The minister who performed our wedding was great! I could understand every word he said and it was so beautiful!! We were his first wedding ever and he put so much into the ceremony. I have a video in my Trip report!

I got an email today from Shanda,& she has "unofficially" penciled us for the vow renewal on CC for Sept 25,2011 sailing. I'm so excited
I did see in the follow up kit that she emailed me that there won't be a refund if ceremony is brought inside. I'm wondering if that's in regard to a deck 7 ceremony being brought inside because of weather,or,if it pertains to CC ceremony too. I sent her an email asking about it,so I will let you know when I get a response. Here is part of the stuff she sent me,it's question #5
