^^^Disney Christmas Ornament Exchange Sent/Received thread^^^COMPLETED!!

We ate at the chefs counter at Napa Rose and it was one of the best meals I have ever had. DH did the wine pairing and I asked the somalier to help me select a glass. The chefs chatted to us as we watched them work and they sent several samples over for us to try. Then at the end of the meal the somalier asked DH which his favourite wine was and he poured us both a large glass of that to take up back to our room free of charge to enjoy on our balcony with some after dinner sweets. Definately highly recommended.

Sounds great......we did Club 33 and DH did the wine pairings, so I am sure he would be up for that!!
Just depends on if we can afford it.....if the house sells, then definitely. If not, the Chef's Table might have to wait.
I am a picky eater.....will it still be worth it for me??

They are very warm & comfy.....I am going to be good and save them for christmastime (well after today ;))

It has done nothing but rain here this week, I was sooo looking forward to getting some sun in Orlando on Monday but just heard that Tropical Storm Erica is on it's way so we may face flight delays. Lets hope not - positive thoughts! :wizard:

I know! Aren't those slipper socks so warm and comfy!??!! They are great on a cold winters day or a cool end of summer night!!??!!:confused3;) I'm so glad you like them!!!:yay:
I hope you have a wonderful time Claire!!! :woohoo:Heck I know you will it's Disney World!!! ;):cool1: My DH always says "A bad day at WDW is better than a great day at work!!"" :confused3:rotfl: I will keep my fingers crossed that there are no delays and that the trip goes without a hitch!!:thumbsup2Have a wonderful time and give Mickey and Minnie a hug for me!!!;):rotfl:

Ooh, Club 33 I am envious, that is my Disney dream!!

I am a picky eater too and chefs counter is so worth it. You still choose off the same menu as the rest of the restaurant and it costs the same. You just get to chat to the chefs and they send over a few extra free items to sample.

sounds great.....will have to check it out for sure.

We went on Walk Through Walt's Footstep tour and went into the lobby of Club 33. I was determined to eat there. So.......had DH use all his contacts and find someone to get us in, so next trip we did. It was so great. I hate being told I can't do something or go somewhere, so I was determined to get in !! :rotfl:

It has been a week, so it should be in the next couple of days....of course Michelle's not international took over a week ;)

Today was the day, it arrived.

Thanks so much Karen for the ornaments. I received a picture frame ornament, it's a four park/one world ornament, plus a 2009 WDW ornament.

LOL Nancy wish Club 33 would be in this trip. Oh well there will be so much for me to see and do on my first trip.

It is hard to see everything in just a couple of days.
I want to check out some new things, but it has been so long since we have been, I have to wait for somethings until next time, which hopefully will be next Oct.

When we went to Disneyland last year for our 1st visit, as it was our 10th anniversary we decided to splash out and hired a VIP guide for the day. It was amazing, so worth it for a special treat. We went in to Californian Adventure before it opened and rode Soarin by ourselves before it opened to the public (then we got to stay on for a 2nd ride when it officially opened), we got so many fastpasses it was unreal (from the machines and the ones CM's can give out, then when we went to use a lot of them we were told to just keep them for later), we skipped the Nemo line which was 2 hours long as her friend was the lead CM on it (officially we were given a Dream!) and she got Billy Hill and the Hillbillies to dedicate the entire show for us (which was especially funny when they sang the war song about the British coming!!) We were also allowed to stay on several rides to ride a 2nd time, oh and we got a private chat with Crush at turtle talk plus we got into the VIP seating areas for Fantasmic, the fireworks and all the parades and shows for the whole stay and we also got to do a lap of the park in the Lilly Belle. Now I think we got a particulally good guide, she was recommended from other dis people and for a special treat it was so worth it.

I hope you all have fab trips to Disneyland, we definately plan on returning one day after Californian Adventure has been re modelled.

I know you have told me about it before Karen, it sounds amazing but I can't remember how much it costs though? I would love to do this when we eventually make it back to LA.
