You rode the bus TO WWS, were there buses to get back? Or did you have to take a cab?

Yes,there was bus service,but the bus went to DTD.By the time the DCG Concert was over DHS was closed.When DHS is closed the WWoS bus goes to DTD where people can transfer to other buses. It would have been A LOT faster to take a cab.

There was no charge to enter WWoS last year.It seems like if there was going to be a charge this year,they would have announced that when they announced the public could enter the stadium during the tapings.

The public could be anywhere other than on the field during the tapings and it was not crowded any day but honestly so far I can find NOTHING about getting in to watch this year.

do you know which day the taping is starting? i thought it was going to be the 28th at first but then disneychannelgames.com put up the 29th and now they took the dates down and dcgames2008.com says the 28th again. i am really confused?? if anyone has a good guess please let me know =]

I don't think we know at this point,but the most often mentioned date is April 28,which would make the DCG 6 days long as opposed to 4 days long last year.I really don't know why they would need 2 more days.

Yesterday I received an automated email saying there were no tickets available and then today.....Yippee! They emailed me again to confirm that I have 5 seats! Talk about unexpected! Here's the problem I have: We live in Ohio and are flying in May 2. Friends that we are joining will be there earlier in the week. Could I give my friend my letter and a color copy of my license (or anything else) and would they let her pick up my tickets? I tried to email Rosemarie who sent the email, but I got another automated email saying there were no tickets available, lol. What do you think?

I finally got tickets too! I had all but given up hope. I told the girls we weren't going... now I am thinking about suprising them when we get there! Is that evil? I hope more info is released soon!

A poster on another board has posted that Radio Disney has announced that there WILL be a Fan Day on April 30.It will be held at DHS from 10-1.Park admission is required.I just wanted to let everybody know this new information.

I have received 4 e-mails today stating that the games will not be viewable this year, there is no set schedule and that basically it will be set up in such a way that there will be nothing to see. I'm SO disappointed for my kids who have looked forward to this all year.

What is meant by "not be viewable"?Disney has confirmed that Champion stadium WILL be open to the public during the tapings.The only two big differences I have been able to determine between this year's DCG and last year's DCG is that there is no "recruited audience"-meaning the public will not be asked to sit together in one section with some wearing team colors,etc. and be filmed cheering when directed to by the production crew-there WILL be an "audience" of already selected "extras" on the field to cheer.I don't see why that is "deal breaker".The other main difference is that Disney is saying that ALL games will take place in the outfield with the DCG Concert stage being in place the entire week thereby blocking the view of the games.First of all,MOST of the games were held in the outfield last year anyway and because of the distance the view was not that good last year WITHOUT the DCG Concert stage being set up.There was a grassy area down the third base line where people went to view the outfield games.If this area is open this year-PROBLEM SOLVED! There was really not a "set" schedule lasat year-just a basic outline of which games would be taped on which days.A television taping is a fluid and changing endeavor.Finally,I have read or heard NOTHING that indicates the DCG Stars will not be allowed to interact with their fans like they did last year and isn't that the MAIN reason we are all going anyway?

Well... I am not sure exactly... I sent a few and it was all so confusing... I am pretty though that I got them when I tried the second email address on the dcgames.com website. It was like wdpprodctions or something... Evidently I heard that there was a glitch or something and they didn't get the info posted. So when that email address went up I think they released more tix. And I must have been one of the lucky ones wo got them. My thoughts are that if you haven't heard anything you are probably on the waiting list. I wouldn't give up hope! Especially with the way you have to pick up the tix a few days in advance and if you don't, they are releasing them to those on the waiting list. People are already asking if they have to personally pick up the tix. But the email I got said you have to show proof of identity... so I think they will probably be pretty strict on that. Good luck!

You are VERY welcome! At this time last year I didn't even know what a DCG was!LOL As with anything,experience is the best teacher,so I just want to share anything I learned last year that might possibly help someone have the best possible time at this year's DCG!DCG+WDW=FUN!

The same thing has happened to me i sent my email earlier then some people and i have yet to get a confirmation
