It's hard to believe we've been talking about this since January on these boards and now it is less than 2 weeks away!

Ok so they are saying no Fanfest at any of th theme parks or WWS... so WHERE is it? We know there is one, which was NOT denied, just the LOCATION and perhaps the date????

I've proposed a meet up for Disers several times. Since some won't be coming until the end of the week why don't we set it for Friday or Saturday when everyone will be there?

Picnic at WWS? Friday or Saturday? I have DD8 (almost 9) and DS12 (almost 13) and LOL DeAna talk abotu great minds... we posted together LOL

I think we maybe getting a little ahead of ourselves on the FanDay thing... I mean surely there are many other things the actors could be doing besides that. I would think this would be a prime opportunity to do shots of the stars at WDW. For example last year there were those spots of Corbin at AK on EE etc. Had to be taped during the games don't you think? And you would think they *might* want a day off??

they are 15 and 9 (10 in June)

We love Disney and had Florida resident seasonal passes for year. But, the girls are very involved in dance, so the last passes we had didn't get used much between dance classes on Saturdays and Mom needing a day of rest on Sunday (and a day to do laundry).

We're playing hooky from school to come to the DC games one day - the big decision will be *what* day to go.

You might want to check i with those of us who will be there during the games to see what it's looking like. Since it is going to be a "hooky" day anyway, not tons of planning needs to go into it so you can bend a little if we find that one day will be better than another either closer to time or once we arrive. You can PM for my cell if you want to.

I know where you are going with that BUT we had multiple confirmations, one with a date that happened to be the date they are off. Really we could beat this issue to the ground but we really wont know for sure until it is the 30th and nothing happend, or we get notification from disney....It is just leaning (with all the info put together) to be on the 30th at the WWOS! LAughing Place, Radio Disney, Disney Reps, and Hals Blog....

It only said a "meet and greet" type thing - they just hyped it as hanging out. I doubt whoever won will do much more than meet the JB.

I wanted to win that so badly - I mean I wanted my 9 year old to win. ;-)
I haven't been to WDW for a couple of years and I wanted 4 days in the parks, all expenses paid. But, noooooooooooo... LOL

Okay, here's my guess... JB is filming their reality show for Disney, and J.O.N.A.S is in the works. Chelsea Staub (JONAS co-star) will be in the games, AND all of their Camp Rock castmates are confirming their participation. They're the newest big thing to hit Disney.. SO I would assume they're going to be there for the games all week. Again, this is completely my guess. Since they're a definite for the concert, why not extend the stay by a few days?

As far as I can tell, the next thing on their schedule is a show in England on April 18 ... the next event is on May 10. A nice little gap for the DC games?

I've also heard that they've confirmed they'll be there in a few interviews. I haven't been able to find those myself.

AND, the Radio Disney contest to "hang out with JB" is for the week of the games, not just the concert. I for one am sure hoping they'll be there the whole week!!

its kinda hard to not think about it...It is getting close and I really want my daughter to meet some of the celebs..Parents do some crazy stuff for their kids...BUT in the interim I have had a great time, met great people, and let my imagination go wild...almost to wild sometimes. I agree that would be awesome... but I forget (I put my printout for tix in safe-keeping ) what were the dates you could pick up tix, because if you could pick up tix after the 30th that would kind blow that theory out of the water...

I was thinking the same thing... I think that would be the smartest way to do any kind of fan-fest, it would keep the amount of people limited. And it makes since because everyone is required to pick up their tickets by then. And not to mention it would make many people VERY HAPPY
