Disney Channel Games 2008???

I saw A LOT of them at Animal Kingdom Lodge last year;I am not sure,but I don't think they ALL stayed there,at least I never saw ALL of them there. I think they all really enjoyed AKL.I think there is a GREAT chance some of them will stay there again this year because it is such a fun resort and also because of its relative close proximity to Wide World of Sports.

what stars were staying there? do you know if the jonas brothers were there? haha i'm curious sorry

You're right. I didn't see anything about fanfest either. Oh, the suspense is killing me. We know it is going to happen on that day, but where? Does anyone have any ideas as to how they would handle the crowds for it. Did they have a fan day last year.

Oh, my daugther would just LOVE to see/meet Miley Cyrus! She is the main one she would want to see. Man, we watch her show everyday at least twice... feels like part of our family! It is sooo funny to hear an almost three year old talk about Miley, Oliver, Jackson, and Lilly like they were someone she plays with everyday!

No,there was not a Fan Day last year.dcgames2008.com has said that there will not be a Fan Day "at any of the Theme Parks".A lot of us interpret that to mean that there WILL be a Fan Day,but it will be at Wide World of Sports. If the information is correct that Miley will be back this year and you spend enough time at WWoS,you WILL see her. If you spend enough time at WWoS it will be possible to see ALL of the Stars.Now you will probably not be able to get an autograph from all of them,but it is possible to see all of them It is just a matter of how much time you want to invest.

JB did not participate in the games portion last year-they only participated in the DCG Concert.I don't know how many days they were in town just to do the Friday night concert,but I did not see them at AKL.I saw lot of the HM gang and the SLOZAC gang there as well as a lot of the International Disney Channel Stars.

Anybody else offended by Radio Disney's age limit on contests? Random I know, but they're having a contest to hang out with the Jonas Brothers during the DC games, and you get an all expense paid trip, but you have to be younger than 14. The youngest Jonas is well, minus Frankie, is 15, I don't think they always want to hang out with kids all day! They should totally raise the age to at LEAST 20!

I don't want to bust any bubbles here but the site that talks about the fan fest not being at the parks is a passholder site, I believe. so if this is true then only the passholders will get the fan tickets correct, or maybe it will be ticketed to the folks that sent the request for the concert from dcgames08.com

Yes I am an AP for WDW but the info came from the universal dcgames08.com. The AP pages still state nothing...

It figures that I was planning to come to the games on Friday and apparently there is no taping that day. Friday works best with my schedule - but I guess I need to figure out a plan B. I guess I'll be driving to Orlando three times in a week (about 100 miles one way) - once to pick up my tickets, once to watch the taping/or Fan Fest (if there is one) and once for the concert. With the price of gas these days, these free tickets are getting pretty pricey! LOL (Not that I'm complaining about having tickets! LOLOLOLOL).

On one side I am glad they are holding back the info. This way only the people who really want to be there will be there. On the other hand I am DYING to find everything out so I can prepare...

But if I can't use them and I picked them up and gave them to a friend - can they use them for admission to the concert?

Do you want to attend the Disney Channel Games? Information for the general public is available at www.Disneychannelgames.com.

The games will tape 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. three days: Monday, April 28; Tuesday, April 29; and Thursday, May 1. The location is Disney's Wide World of Sports at the Walt Disney World Resort.

There will be no taping on Wednesday, April 30. The channel said plans for Friday, May 2, were still to be determined.

Tickets are not required. Cameras and recording devices are prohibited. The channel warned that production will start and stop, that views could be obstructed and that Disney Channel stars won't be on the field all the time. Also keep in mind that there will be equipment testing, camera blocking and rehearsals without celebrities.

Translation: There will be a lot of slow times during the long production days. The footage will air this summer on Disney Channel.

That is the impression I am under. I have not heard that they were nontransferrable. I believe they are like a baseball game. You get seats with ticket numbers and rows and seats and sections and you go there. Once they are picked up I do not believe they can be tracked. I am not sure on this though. I would write to them but use a different email

I feel VERY strongly Fan Day will be open to everyone.Since it will most likely be during Florida school hours,that will REALLY cut down on attendance. I would guess there could be a system where you would get "tickets" at Fan Day for each Star you wanted to see and there would only be a certain number for each Star,but I think it will probably be first-come first-served.I see NO possibility that admittance to Fan Day will be tied to Passholder status or DCG Concert ticket status.Just a reminder-Fan Day has NOT been confirmed by Disney. However there are at least 3 unique sources that have indicated there WILL be a Fan Day-the announcement by LaughingPlace on March 6,the information from Radio Disney in Orlando and the email confirmation from Hal Boedeker(who is NEVER wrong! ).I have been giving it some more thought and I think all that is happening is Disney is just waiting to announce Fan Day AT THE SAME TIME they announce the List of Stars,which makes a lot of sense.

When you go to WWoS to pick up your DCG Concert tickets,you will need a form of ID and your confirmation letter.You can GIVE your tickets to anyone you want to.They are not biometrically "tagged" like the Theme Park tickets are.They are nontransferrable in the sense that you CANNOT SELL THEM!
