Disney Channel Games 2008???

I just spoke with an official person from the games. She was wonderful, informative, and knowledgable. She told me that there will be NO tickets for the games. The email addresses, any of them, were only for the concert. She said the seats are in the outfield but the stage will be blocking the view of the events. You can feel free to come in but the times and event lineup still has not been finalized. A fanfest is in the talks but has not been confirmed and may not even be done. When and if things do become finalized it may not be until just before or even during the actual games. Just for the record the person I spoke with was top notch as all things Disney are. As always we will keep each other posted. Here is a hint: keep up on Hals blog for changes. He is a major disney event information distributor.

A few days ago I got an email from Rosemary Crumbly that had an attachment that confirmed my tickets, but now the actual Disney site has a new link.

Are you all sure that this Rosemary Crumbly is legitimate?

It looked pretty official. Perhaps they simply tranfered the people you send your request to another email address. But if all the tickets are sold out....then why bother posting a new email in the first place? Maybe some tickets were saved for the new email?

I was told that they put different email so everyone can get a chance. I will not lie to you, I am not sure what that means. LOL. If you look at my above this just in post I have sent requests via different emails and got replies stating the emails , all of them, were for the concert.

someone offered me their tickets , but now we're trying to figure out how to transfer them over to my name. So, close but yet so far...LOL

I emailed Rosemary Crumbly but have gotten no response. Sheesh. LOL I'm sure she has nothing more important to do than to help me. LOLOLOL

for some reason I could not reply. I kept getting an error message.
Unfortunately I do not. They contacted me. The number was listed as private. Try to email them with your phone number on it explaining them your situation. Keep me posted. Use the email that is on the websites. Good Luck. I do know that any tickets not collected by May 30th, we be re released to the public so inquire about that as well.

I know last year they were doing tapings around the various parks. I doubt the JoBros would be out and about w/out getting mobbed pretty quickly but were there a lot of other stars out at the parks in the hours after the filming for the games was done? My kids are SO excited about doing this (me too, why lie?) that I don't want to shut it down if there are some alternatives to seeing their favorite DC stars. You all have been GREAT by the way. True Disney spirit!!!

head count 9500. stadium seats 9000 approx 500 on the floor. they told me they will be open but they are not guaranteed to see anything or unfortunately anyone. It is tough. kids are in school not a cheap weekend getaway. Details may not be final until a week before

May 3rd is a Saturday.

The actual gaming events are during the week though. If children are younger, it may be easier to take them than with older kids, who have final exams. Although some teachers may let kids take final exams before or after that week depending on how good you make the excuse seem.

I am really torn about moving forward on our reservations but don't want to scrap our entire trip plan without hearing something from the horses mouth. I found out that the other surprise guest, at least one of them, will be Jordin Pruitt. I did not know her by name right away, but my kids told me she sang a song with Corbin Bleu on Jump In, and has also opened for the Jonas Brothers? Not sure if there are any other surprise guests, but so far that is all I found. It came from the Radio Disney Website, as they are going to have some constests to promote the Disney Channel Games, and it lists who ther performers are. It even says you have a chance to win tickets to the concert so....if you are in town, maybe take your chance there, it will be April 26 and 27..here is a link
Ok scratch that, I cannot post a link....but if you go to the radio disney website, and you look in the orlando area at the events calendar, you can find it If I remember my log in info, I will post the link!

Does anyone have extra tickets they would be willing to give up? I tried getting tickets through the pass holder website and through the other one. I couldn't get any tickets and this was going to be a surprise for my two girls. My one daughter is graduating this year and LOVES the Jonas Brothers. She has never been able to see them before and I was hoping she would.

The contests I speak of are actually events in Orlando. YOu go to the store or place they are holding the event. It is going to be a family type event where you wear the color of your favorite team. You have the chance to win many prizes, not just concert tickets. This is completely different from the usual call in and win contests from Radio Disney. (Trust me, I know all about those, my kids have that number on speed dial). So this is actually a "live" event in Orlando somewhere, I wish I could have posted the link...Better yet, I could cut and paste!
